is anybody having better results with google placement targeting rather then ppc?

what kind of campaigns are best to run with google placement targeting?

    So i believe you are talking about Google content. My suggestion is to really do the research on demographic on the offer through Quantcast, Compete and Alexa. Right here, you see what websites are similar to the offer you are promoting. For targeting similar interests into the offers you will have success on google placement.

    In addition, remember this type of marketing is more interrupting marketing. For example if someone is googling Free credit report... You see ads on the right and on top with these offers.

    While on Google Content you are targeting maybe websites like in finance or mortgage, that people "May Need" Free Credit Report.

    So its up to you as a marketer to create a compelling ad copy or a truly distracting banner so that a person who was looking at finance/ mortgage information is now compelled to get a free credit report.

    If you can master this. You are on your way to the big leagues of MEDIA BUYS.
