    Plenty. Including G's website optimizer. For more of a variety - check out HotScripts.com. They have many scripts in different flavors.

      so this will rotate urls for ppv?

        It will rotate, but the hack does not track for reporting. It thinks the rotated urls are all one advert, for reporting purposes.

        Not a good solution for serious market testing.

        If you have enough traffic, you will need a dedicated server. T202 has a hosted solution if you prefer that.

        So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.

            Here's a quick and dirty php script:
            $urls=array("http://domain.com?subid=1","http://domain.com?subid=2");
            $url=$urls[array_rand($urls)];

            When this runs it will randomly pick a url from the array and you can have any subid you want in it since you specify the url.

            So when the page loads one time $url will be equal to http://domain.com?subid=1 and another time $url will be equal to http://domain.com?subid=2

            If you don't understand php, just visit php.net or hire a freelancer to put this together for you. There are also a myriad of scripts that go far beyond this, but if you're just starting out this will do.

              That's a great start, but real tracking needs more power.

              For example, we need to randomly rotate banners, but they must be geographically targeted. We can't present a USA advert to someone in India. In addition, we need to track impressions and clicks, and then track revenue per banner..

              I would appreciate any leads for some good software to do all that.

              Thanks!

                FYI, Google does a fair job of rotation and geo targeting (not perfect), but it does not track revenue/performance after the banner click.
                See here https://www.google.com/admanager/

                Another issue is confidentiality, it's not great to give google all our business details...

    Has anyone tried Conversion Chicken?

    I haven't yet, but it's on my "to-test" list. I don't know how it fares with tracking, but it auto-optimizes your variations. Might be crude, but perhaps you can just toss all your traffic at the site running CC and let the optimization happen by itself.

    Of course, it might not work for finding out which ad/traffic source does best with which combination of variables, if you're running many different ads (too many to create a seperate LP path for each one).
