Instead of buying a lot of useless CPA ebooks or courses, I am looking to find a CPA coach. Does such a person exist? I am familiar with CPA and have purchased several ebooks that all repeat the information. I am looking to pay a coach who can help me. Assign me a homework assignment and after I complete, we discuss my results.

I am hoping to find the right person and in the end I am going to be a successful IM.

Be prepared to pay top dollar to get a coach. Why not try reading through the forums here first as you may be better off learning and absorbing what you can before heading over to a coach?

For me the hardest part about coaching is that students tend to want money to be transferred from the coach's account to their own, meaning they want the coach to make them money, they don't want to make money themselves. It doesn't work like this and it shouldn't. The coach is responsible for giving the student the knowledge to have the student make his own money. And then at every roadblock the student encounters, its then the coaches fault because the student doesn't want to overcome that obstacle.

So, in many respects many of the good CPA marketers don't want to coach because many students are bad students...they just want money, they don't want to learn and overcome obstacles themselves. So there are just as many bad students out there as bad coaches and that's what makes it tough.

With that said, coaching can be a fantastic way to fast track your education if you are a good student and find a good coach. IMO

Most of the time 1-on-1 coaching can be costly, there are several programs out there to help as well - just not 1-on-1, stay away from ebooks, they may be good to get some info but in the long run they aren't that helpful

I'd like to make an analogy here and stimulate some thought...

Paid coaching vs. reading forums, ebooks, and courses

      is much like

      Paid traffic vs. free methods

For each, the former cost money and the latter cost time.

Regardless of which you choose, the faster you fail - the faster you will learn and hopefully reach success.

So it comes down to 1) how fast do you want to reach success, 2) what are you willing to spend - time & effort or money, and 3) what is your tolerance for pain?

      Always making you think...

      Regards,

      John

John, I hate thinking...makes my head hurt

I agree though its all about how fast you want to conquer the learning curve of IM and CPA marketing. I would also add a similar analogy...

Coaching is life PPC...find that winning keyword in PPC and the money rolls in huge. Most of time your campaigns wont be winners. Find that winning coach, and the money will start rolling in. But winning coaches, like winning PPC campaigns, are hard to find.

      I agree...

And thinking makes my head hurt too - or maybe its the wall I keep banging it against.

I hate to break it to any newbies out there but affiliate marketing is as challenging and expensive as it can be rewarding and profitable.

Look to spend money on training , have testing budgets ready (over $500 is realistic) , and expect a long term investment in your time to learn Affiliate Marketing.

Don't expect tricks and black hat techniques to provide long term revenue as they are mostly short term gimmicks that get your accounts closed down fast.

With that said I agree that working with a CPA Coach can be the fastest track to learning the ropes and saving money by not making costly mistakes. So that initial investment with a CPA Coach will pay off in the hard lessons your competitors will be going through.

I have a couch I work closely with that can show you the ropes for only a small investment, contact me and I will give you his information.
