How is using celebrities legal? I see people using sites like "Celebrities Teeth Whitener" then has a bunch of pics of celebrities with names saying how white their teeth is?

Could I make a domain angelinatypekids.com have a landing page dedicated to a CPA for 3rd world adoption (dont think there is one) with Angelina Jolie pictures all over and her and her 3 kids?

Just wondering.

Just because you see it, doesn't mean it's legal or ethical.

I guess its not legal to use actor/actress images in a whitening products coz they might be promoting the same type of products in real life so it would cost you a problem later on. I have known some actress file a case against it already because her image were used by another soap company in their products without her consent

If you use the personality of a celebrity or anybody for that matter or suggest in the slightest that a celebrity is endorsing the product or offer, you can get in serious trouble. People do it all the time. Many dont ever have a problem. Some do. And for the ones that do, the consequences can be huge.

I would stay clear of any issues like that.

Some offers do have legitimate celebrity endorsements. Stick with the bigger and better known networks and you shouldn't have a problem. I would not recommend promoting products with misc celebrities though.
