i just wanted to post and see if this average?

its on a ppc content network, i wrote my ads very selective so i dont get waste traffic

36,666 impressions - 13 clicks = 0.04 CTR%

thoughts?

    Looks a bit on the low side... I usually get anything from 0.8% - 3% CTR on Yahoo. I know Perry Marshall recommends that when starting out, you'll have to try to get your CTR to about 1% consistently. I think on Google it has something to do with your quality score, too (but I don't know since I don't use adwords). I would suggest that you run 2 (or more) completely different ads to find which one converts better. Then discard to worse one, and add a new ad that is a variation of the better performing of the two original adds... Rinse and repeat until you have fine tuned the ad to perform as well as possible.. M

      im rotating up to 6 ads all the time, but dont have enought data to determine which i should tweak

        That's the problem with delayed stats, and I don't like PPC for that. By the time you know that your ad sucks or which keywords get clicks your stats are so miserable that think about giving up.

    How relevant is your offer? Ads may be written well but possibly the offer doesnt fit with the selected keywords
