UK Marketers: Application Process

Hi all

I was just wondering if someone could give me some answers which are relevant to UK marketers.

I know that it is advised to call the network as soon as you make an application to a network. So my question is: where do you get this number from? Remember, I am referring to UK marketers. Is it e-mailed to you after you fill in the application form? Or, perhaps it's the same (American) number that we all need to call?

Also, if the network does call you, is it very random? What if you miss the call, could you then call them back? Again, which number?

Lastly, what exactly are the requirements for having a website, and just how good (looks, traffic) must that website be? Would it be possible to apply with a new website? How useful is a website as "proof" at this stage? I mean, I could just show a website in the health niche; this doesn't mean that I will only promote health offers, right?

And if that's accepted, does that not dilute the importance of having a website? Or, is it more that having a Website hints at other factors (how serious you are; how good you are at generating traffic, etc)?

Alternatively, if you claim you will be using PPC, but have no experience of it, would that be OK? Or do they not take too kindly to being used as the guinea pig for your PPC exploits?

I do appreciate that a lot of these answers vary network to network, so a general answer would be OK. Additionally, if someone wants to give specific answers relating to a specific (recommended) network, that would be even better.

Thanks for all your help.

P.S Any non-UK marketers who can help, feel free to give your input.

    Hello,

I am based in the UK and I am accepted by number of CPA Networks.
Said in shortly, when you send your application form to the Network you will get an e-mail.This e-mail contents all of the contact details of your potential AM.Usualy they call you in 2-3 days/I mean American Networks/.
Depends on the Network if you do not respond on their call they can deny your application completely. That is why if you miss the call ring then back.
    I had two such cases/missed calls/.

    I hope it helps.

P.S.If you have any questions PM me,not a problem to share my experience.

I too am from the UK. I dont ring the networks - I let THEM ring me and they do but it takes a while i admit. But I have to make the application in such as way that they will be bound to ring me back. But if one choses to ring them thats fine.

I have had missed calls - i find they dont call back if u have a missed call. Use your mobile phone - i always do but make sure you have a decent message on it and that u keep it on and with you all the time. U normally geta confirmation email with a tel numer on it or just call the number on the website.

I tell them that i use PPC and indeed i do but i have heard of people telling them they do when they dont and still getting in.

Website age does play a part in your application so I am told. Some networks will look to see how long its been running - the longer the better. I get the feeling the networks want to see well put together and engaging sites that look like they have a good product that sells. I get asked what site I will use to push their promotions so i think thats crucial.

if u are starting out and not with a cpa yet then in my experience, cpa bullet is pretty easy to get into. They arent the best and dont have many campaigns but its a start.
