First - Does the offer you are wanting to promote allow traffic from Social Networks?

Second - You will be violating the TOS of Facebook, so you will most likely lose the account at some point.

Third - Facebook Pages - Look at them, consider them...

Fourth - As you were already told, Facebook Ads. It is 100% within the terms of service, you can target demographics, and you won't tick off 500 people.

Fifth - I use Facebook to communicate with friends, family, and co-conspirators. If you start throwing offers to me, you just left that grouping, and you would be eliminated. Which is likely what will happen to your 500 person list. It will decrease rapidly.

If you are getting fans on a Facebook page, who are expecting to learn about offers, discounts, and cool new things, then you are probably in good standing.

    Pages | Facebook

You can read the Terms of Service here:

Statement of Rights and Responsibilities | Facebook

Then the last point, don't try to send offers directly on Facebook, recommend to your fans that they visit a site you own, if you read the TOS carefully, you'll understand why.

    Hey!

Just to give you a heads up, FB ads convert very well just make sure that you are targetting the right countries + audience!

Also, most of the time if you are promoting a CPA offer through FB you will need to build a landing page (review kind of thing) otherwise your ad will get dissaproved!
There's a tip 2 get you started with FB ads...Good luck!

Facebook pages, for a "free" option, can be extremely lucrative. The key is to NOT send visitors and members to the cpa offer directly, but to send them to a blog or intermediary page first.

As for FB ads, I will disagree with riko3. You don't NEED to send to a landing page. I have had several successful campaigns go direct to the offer. Don't bother trying rebills for any long term success.

i still believe facebook is a proper way to go, just get a blog to direct them to first.
