Hi Warrior's

Listen to my worst horror story of yesterday....

Yesterday i started one Campaign on Adwords and Yahoo....It was going good, u must be knowing i had started thread on it also...

So i though of scaling it up...Yesterday night, saturday night...I went out with my friends and had lot of BEER BEER BEER AND BEER !!!

Came home and though of scaling my Campaign...SO i opened both Adwords and Yahoo...

Adwords:-

In adwords your currency is in Local Currency..So mine was INR ( Indian )

So i set daily budget of Rs.500 ( $11 ) and max CPC was Rs.33 ( $0.70 )

Yahoo:-

TOTALLY IN DRUNK CONDITION

ALL WENT F**CKED UP HERE....

I SET DAILY BUDGET OF 500 HERE ALSO..I THOUGH ITS IN INR...BUT IT WAS $500 $500 $500 $500 $500 $500 $500 $500 .....FCUK ....

MAX CPC :- AGAIN HERE I SET $33...I THOUGH ITS RS.33

F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F..........BOOOM BOOM BOOM

WAKED UP IN SUNDAY MORNING.....AND BOOOM....MY CREDITCARD WAS CHARGED WITH $500 .......

MY MAX CPC WAS $33....FFFFFFFF

CONCULSION :- DON'T EVER EVER EVER DO INTERNET MARKETING AFTER DRUNK .....YOU WILL BE FCUKED UP !!!

Did you at least make any conversions with the $500 ad spend?

And what did you end up paying per click and # of clicks? Maybe its not all bad news!

  So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.

This happened with a couple of times and I still pay CC payments in installments. Believe it or not, almost the same thing happened with me. except that I knew the currencies, its jut that I was too high and went a little overboard in bidding. Since then, I have never tried PPC again

? now even with a max of $33 and a prior setting of .33 getting your jollies and clicks of you do not jump to paying $33 o pop as its usually High bid plus .01 or abouts. you at least must have copped a boatload of clicks and at least some conversion data that will enable you to restructure and possibly earn your money back over time.

PPC+Drunk = &%^$*

Most people can't even do PPC when they're sober

Call Yahoo and explain your error. It's a good chance they will reverse it especially if you use them frequently.

Ha, I make a point not to make any changes after I've been drinking (although it can be tempting...). I really avoid promoting code after I've been drinking .

Alcohol is a joke. Marjuana is banned, but yet alcohol impairs more than any substance. It's a fact that someone on speed is better suited to drive than someone on alcohol. I have no respect for someone who gets in a car after drinking, NONE. I don't care if they're the best internet marketer in the world, or if they can get a million of their sites on the first page of google. Sorry for the rant, but i believe alcohol is something that should be eliminated.
