Article Marketing: Include URL and Redirect or Create Landing Page?

Hello everyone. From the WSO's and Ezines that I have read everything seems to point to creating a landing page for offers being promoted via article marketing. But, when i research articles that are in my niche it seems as if they are registering a domain, including that in the article and the url is redirected to the offer's landing page. I am not quite sure what to do. Any advice?

P.S. I am not sure if this is the correct spot to post this, but it is a CPA offer I am promoting. As always, I really appreciate the feedback...

If you link to the LP you're going to start building rank for that (and get natural traffic to it, over time). You can build a LP that redirects people to the offer without losing your rank by using the "onclick" attribute similar to what's used on my old company, xCell Technologies now Eagle Web Assets Inc.

Make a real landing page, not just a redirected domain.

  Some good questions indeed . It takes quite a bit of time to gather research and write articles or rework existing articles, whatever your strategy. Another strategy is to create the landing page and have a lead capture system in place. This way, you give something of value up front and then there are scripts you can probably google or DM me and I'll give you the names of a few, that will auto populate certain information onto your CPA landing page. If the CPA offer isn't what the prospect is seeking, you've now captured their email and can continue the conversation with them, to hopefully a profitable relationship !

It all depends on how well the offer page converts. I would get a domain and redirect it to the offer page. If the conversions are not what you want it to be then create your own landing page.

  1. Use a landing page
  2. Put an opt-in box on it (build a list)
  3. Offer them a FREE ________ (ebook, audio, video, etc...) in exchange for the opt-in
  4. Do NOT put a CPA offer on the landing page
  5. Send them CPA offers once they are on your list
