Okay, so I run ppv campaign with Lead Impact (GREAT network by the way!) literally a couple of hours ago, and now i just made my first $ online. The offer pays $15 dollar. Not bad at all. I lost actually, but it really doesn't matter!

For those of you who have just started, keep on going! It took me 6 months playing with ppv, to make my first $.

Congrats buddy

, I agree with concept of 6 months of hard work and results driven after 6 months. In last 2 weeks, this is what I managed to earn-

1. Clickbank (1 recurring sale of $35/month after 1.5 years of long waiting)
2. Paydotcom (1 recurring sale of $45/year)
3. Article video robot sale (1 for $17)
4. peerfly CPA ($ 2.80 till now started mid July)
5. CPA lead ($7.50 till now started mid July)

Should I be happy ? I think yes because every penny we earn not only shows us what works but most importantly what doesn't work. Started FB ad campaign last night (hit and trial) let's see what I can learn from it.

I completely agree with the last paragraph. Knowing what works and what doesn't are critical. I've been doing this campaign for 3 weeks now, so far I've got $1000, which is not bad at all, but what amazing is that almost half of that money ($470) comes from the last 3 days of campaign. Now, all I gotta do is wait for another week, and if the conversion stays consistent, I'm ready to scale it up even more.

Btw, hope you have success with your campaigns mate.

I would highly recommend Mike Morgan's WSO. With that being said, it's just a guide, you have to take the action needed, and put your own twist to it.

-The most important part is mapping out exactly what your system entails. Once its in visual map, that will make it easier to figure out what you can and cant outsource effectively.

I have also made my first $$ Loving this pretty new to the game. Woke up this morning my account is now over $60 I earnt a commission while I slept.

I could get used to this. Though still struggling with prosper. I think I now have it setup alright. But clickbooth is showing the commision but prosper isnt. I have pasted my pixel into the campaign and also updating clickbooth global pixel.

There is nothing better than waking up and knowing you made more in your sleep than your friends/family/others will make all day at work!! Comes from initial hard work of course, but its a great feeling.

And then if you are doing paid traffic, there is always the risk that you lost money overnight

And always find out why something happened. Why you made money here or lose money there. Answering the why will take you places in CPA!

Congrats on the first conversion! Lead Impact is a great CPV network so keep trying different offers with them! Right now, I'm running an auto insurance offer (pays out $10.50) and a credit report offer (pays out $22) on Lead Impact and I'm getting, on average, 2 conversions from each per day. So, if you haven't already, try promoting offers in these 2 niches as well! Keep at it and great job!

Why are you getting only 2 conversions per day? Are you not pushing the traffic enough?

This is just how I go about optimizing my campaigns. I take it VERY slow at first and feel out how the campaign performs. If I see that I'm getting consistent conversions on the same set of keyword phrases or URL's, then I am confident enough to ramp it up.

But right now the conversions are on such random keyword phrases that I'm not to the point where I know that my larger investment will pay off. But I'm hoping that in another week or two the campaign will start showing some more consistency.

But I'm really glad that you're coming back to the site on a daily basis! My life has been SO hectic lately that I'm trying my best to get a post up there every day!

I hope you keep reading and let me know if you need any help with Lead Impact. I'm starting to get a good feel for it and I can give you some direction if you need it!

I know that you use tracking202, but have you ever used Lead Impact tracking script? They don't seem to track which keywords that are converting, dont they?

I'm planning to use tracking202 instead, but that means I have to grab new URL for my landing page destination. The thing is my landing page size has been altered by them, it's not the usual 800*600 dimension, and I'm afraid that if I changed the landing page URL, the size would change back to normal.

Edward,

The two are basically one in the same. Finding the right campaign involves optimizing the campaign which is the real work ofbuilding a campaign. Optimization involves, split testing, weeding out the bad keywords, and expanding on the good ones.

In general, even the optimization isnt Hard per say. Its a lot of work and tremendous amount of organization involved, but its not really that difficult of a process, just time consuming.

  So true man. I remember my early days. I made a whooping income of around 50 cents when I first started and I was running and yelling "IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE!!!!!" That's the no 1 hurdle before even starting, you have to believe in it to make it work.

Exactly, two similar yet very different strategies.

Rinse and repeat exactly what you did will multiply profits.

Scaling the already built campaign will multiply profits.

Scale and then rinse and repeat the optimized campaign and exponentially mutiply your profits.

Sorry guys, been really busy with the campaign. Just a quick update, the first campaign, which I made my first dime was not profitable at all. So I stopped promoting that offer. In the last 3 weeks I've been testing new offer, which I find quite profitable. I made consistent 1-2 conversion on the first week, 2-3 conversion on the second week, and 4-5 conversion on the third. Today I got 8 conversions. I find my conversion rate quite high on the weekends.

Always ask yourself why is this happening, why is that happening. As you answer these questions, this is the most basic form of optimization. Find out why something is helps or hurts.

Thx a lot mate. Just a little more update, turned out I made 12 conversions today. It quite funny how it happened though, i thought I had reached my budget, but it turned out I still had $10 budget on the campaign, and from that $10 I made another 4 conversions, each conversion worth $22.5!

Yeah.. i want to ask these questions too, since i'm considering to try PPV after read Mike's WSO.

So far i have tried to offer campaign using FB, what i offered to users are ZIP/Email. but the conversion rate not so good. I just got average EPC around 0.25-0.35

Hmmm, outsourcing is definitely in my plans, but I really have no idea how to outsource. Not that I dont know where to find the people, but it's how can I explain the system to them. When I reach the level where I really cant handle it by myself, I'm gonna ask your advice then.

Hey Jesseca,

My advice is if you completely new to affiliate marketing game, I recommend that you start with free traffic sources like article marketing , yahoo answers , micro niche sites , video marketing , etc .

This way you would be able to get lots of expertise about the critical components of internet marketing. You would also get money for paid traffic.

Once, you become familiar with all the critical elements, and then you can jump to Paid Traffic Sources like PPC, PPV, etc.

BTW , the following thread can give you some ideas

Hi Jesseca,

It depends, if you had money to spend, paid traffic might be suitable for you, but if you had more time rather than money, article marketing, blogging, video marketing, etc might me suitable for you. I would recommend you to start with ONE traffic source, once you feel like you have a good grip, then try different traffic sources.

I haven't had the chance to try different traffic source because I do think there's more to explore in PPV.

What are your strengths and weaknesses? What have you tried before?

These are the critical questions in determining which path YOU should. There are many paths that end up at the pot of gold if you work hard enough, but the best path is different for everybody.

Due some self analyzing, and THEN pick a good direction to take!

I dont care how small it is....frame it and use it as motivation.

Try and add a few zeros every 6 months as your goal.

Ie...

If your check was for $42.31
6 Month Goal 4,231.00 in the bank
12 Month Goal 42,310.00 in the bank
18 Month Goal 423,100.00 in the bank
24 Month Goal 4,231,000.00 in the bank

Think big! Shoot for the moon and dont get caught gazing at stars.

Absolutely! Work hard, work smart and eventually you will see rewards. Many people call me and others in this industry lucky but have you ever noticed that those people who worked their butts off get more lucky than those who sit and wait for luck.

So go after your goals and work your bums off. It will likely require a fair bit of sacrifice, but name 10 rich people you know who didnt sacrifice a lot to get where they are at?

Well since this thread is old as hell, it couldn't hurt to be honest about what the guy actually wrote.

1) He wrote he lost money. As in, there was NO net gain whatsoever.

2) He wrote that it "doesn't matter" to lose money.

3) About 99% of people congratulated him on this.

4) Noone pointed out the fact that he was also doing this for 6 months.

For an objective, rational minded person, that is quite horrible. OF COURSE you're bound to "make" a small % of money if you burn enough of it. Its the same thing as playing roulette. Throw enough at the table, you'll always make a smaller % back.

But that is FAR from making money.

In conclusion, I offer no congratulations.
I haven't seen this guy post again and I will speculate that he stopped PPV because he went broke, lost all hope, and stopped marketing.

I will also suspect that all this happened because there wasn't one person on here who refused to sugarcoat the truth. He lost money. When you lose money, you fail. Failure does not = success when you never actually succeed. Yes you can fail a few times, then succeed and call it a success. But what I read here is clear, unadulterated failure.

Sorry for calling it the way I see it.
