Create Your Own Banners or Use Creatives from CPA Network?

Hey warriors,

I've decided to try and give this whole CPA thing a try. However, right now I'm stuck at something so simple. I'm wondering if you use the creatives given to you by the CPA networks, or do you try and create your own, when you place on the Google content network or any other ad networks?

It obviously would be a lot easier to use the ones that are already created.

Thanks,

Jordan

I usually make my own banners.

The cpa banners usually look very professional which you would think would be a good thing but people have "banner blindness" many times. If you make your own banner you can make it stand out more.

But it all comes down to split testing!

Thanks for the replies! I've heard from reading some courses that text banners pull really well. Have you all experienced any success with text banners? I'll probably start with text banners and see what happens.

I almost always create my own banners, but you need to be careful, because some offers don't allow you to use your own creatives without have them approved by the aff manager before!

When allowed, I prefer creating my own banners to better target them to my content.

I'd like to see some examples of banners you have created. Also include the prices too.

I've only created banners when I really need to (rarely). Some CPA networks will create a custom one for you just for asking.

I know a good number of the publishers with our agency make their own creatives, or have us create new ones for them. With our own offers its really easy for us to change the creatives around, and we can also make creatives for you and get them approved by the advertiser of offers that we don't own. However, some advertisers are really strict about their own creatives being used, so just be careful and make sure its allowed.

    Good luck!

EWA does not even provide banners because they usually don't convert at all. It's much better to make your own work.

Depends on the network. Neverblue and Maxbounty have banners that are very professionally created and therefore, I don't see the neeed to create my own.
