I know a lot of you on here like them, but they really do suck and take advantage of people. They scammed me out of $1400 in commission for "sales" not leads or email submits but actual sales. They "claim" that a couple of the purchasers said that they did not order the product. Okay so I forced people to use a credit card and put in their information - come on. I sent thousands of clicks to this offer.

I have been in the affiliate world for awhile- I even run my own network. This has got to be the shadiest group of people that I have ever worked with. My account with them was active for a year. They completely deleted my account with the commission and pretended that I did not exist.

Charles- I understand that they are a top tier network - and I know that I have a low post count. - Just be aware that this can happen to you or anybody else on here.

most cpa networks do this, and they don't care about the affiliates. Only way to earn insane profits from cpa is to start your own affiliate network and shave your affiliates.

What happened to your other thread?

There's always two sides to a story and I'm interested in hearing what COPEAC has to say about this. What was the offer? Who was the advertiser? Do you know if the advertiser paid COPEAC for the sales?

I've only heard horrible things about them lately - it's sad for me (I like them) to be saying this about another network but I truly don't feel they are financially safe.

I saw a post in another forum where an affiliate claimed he was ripped off some $400 from Copeac. Then Mike came in and said they do some $100 million in revenue annually and see no need to rip some small fly(insinuation).

Now Eagle comes here and says there is some financial problem within Copeac. But if the Birdman says so there MUST be something to it.

Pretty interesting.Hope Mike can come to chip in and defend himself.

This doesnt sound too good. I find that their offers (im with them) arent that great compared to say Maxbounty. I hope some one from Copeac answers thischarge because until then I wont be promoting anymore of their campaigns.

Most networks will NOT protect you if a merchant welches on payment. If the network doesnt get paid, they wont pay you either.

That's why I setup direct deals with merchants myself and demand an upfront payment. Works everytime.

Not a big fan of them either. I remember I ran a campaign of theirs awhile back and wasn't getting conversions on plenty of traffic and the AM's response on my inquiry to them was "the advertiser is pretty shaddy, maybe try a different campaign". That was enough for me to move on.

Same here I was sending PPC traffic and noticed the numbers were way off with my Prosper202/PPC analytics compared to theirs.

I just stopped, learned and moved on. I always test similar offers on different networks and see who is shaving the most and who is not. Lately, in my records they (Copeac) are in my top 10.

I did receive a phone call from Copeac concerned about my numbers. Much respect given to them for doing that. I will pull some numbers from a couple of campaigns from awhile back and get back with them.

I just wanted to post this because I think there is much to be said when a Network will take the time to figure out the problem and assist you with it.

The real crappy networks would not even contact you. Once the new tracking system is in place I will probably run a couple of campaigns.

**UPDATE** Today I did receive a check for $774.00 from Copeac. It was not for the full amount but I understand that the advertiser scrubbed some of my leads and Copeac did not get paid for them. (I am ok with that) Mike kept to his word and investigated the issue for me. He was nothing but considerate throughout the process, updating me with emails as he got the chance. My account was also reactivated with the network. Pleased with the outcome.

    See here's the thing:

MOST (not all) networks shave commissions or even DELETE what they owe you *IF* a merchant decides to welch on payment. IMO, this is very bad business practice as a network should ALWAYS back their affiliates.

The trick is to go direct with a merchant and DEMAND upfront payment.

Any questions just let me know,

I agree - Networks should never be doing this, the whole point of a network is to provide some level of protection for affiliates and get us paid as fast as possible, hence why they take there cut

Copeac In my opinion, is doing the best.
They won't do trouble to people, its the ADVERTISERS.
I am on couple of forums, for cpa related, (not bluefart related content i read).
Including Warriorforum, I see that mkrongel is active, also others as Ryan and more people.
They Also keep up with everybody's problem, by solving them.
Glad Bank32, you got your problem resolved.
Good job Mkrongel, I will sign up once you have the latest tracking system in action.
So um, I say if anytime there is a problem.
Pick your phone, dial their number and talk to them.
Remember man, if you don't want to even get on phone.
just by email, things will get slowly resolved, or maybe never unless you call!

Copeac seems to be good. I dont know whats the base behind questioning their financial position. They have minted money in past and i dont feel they were in loss for any month.

I hope its not a start like Hydra when everybody rumored that hydra is not paying ( never seen someone legitimate who is not paid by hydra). And everyone had bad reviews about this or that.

So i believe they are very much into business and we should not question their credibility and business stability without any proof.

    Thanks

Copeac is a good network. I have worked with Copeac for years and they have always been great to work with. I don't understand why people bash networks unless you personally have solid proof backing your claims and/or accusations - it's a very unprofessional thing to do.

We are all in this space to make money. We should treat each other exactly how we want to be treated. I live my life by this and so far things have worked out great for me. Try it, you might like it.

Thanks for the heads up. There really needs to be audits in the CPA industry. We have to place our trust and hard earned advertising dollars so they can make coin of our paid traffic. But we really dont know if they report all conversions. Same goes for the merchants who supply the offers too. Many people dont say this publicy but I know several affilates who have told me this fear they have.
