Adsense and money generation

I just wanted to know about adsense and how to earn money out of it from WP blog?

I am new to adsense. I know that many people earn money from article sites too.

Any ideas how to go about it?

    1. Choose a niche and start writing on that niche
    2. Write quality content and put adsense ads on your articles
    3. % of people who read your articles will click on your adsense ads
    4. You make money
    5. Rinse and repeat.

    Do a search on Google on keywords of the niche you are thinking of making your blog around and see how many results there are > You want about 50.000-100.000 results to start with (low competition - easier to rank for).

    Read about onsite and offsite SEO in order to improve your rankings on the SERPS and drive more traffic to your blog, so you increase the number of clicks and you make more money.

    Also, have in mind the ad placement. It's very important that you are familiar with concepts like 'above the fold', it will affect your adsense earning directly.

    Upload new content regularly.

    TIP: Use the keyword you want to target in your domain name.
