STOP READING THIS AND GET TO WORK!

Yes, taking action is very important. Many people complain about courses, reports, etc, but the problem is that they never take action and put their focus on their business.

In order to succeed online it's necessary to keep always very well organized. I have an excel spreadsheet (have already shared it on this forum) where I schedule all my tasks for the next day and I usually don't get distracted until I finish everything. Sometimes, I have a break in the middle of the day and come to this forum, read some blogs, etc... However, I rarely start spending my time on "less productive activities" until I finish my most important tasks.

Once I watched an interview of a super affiliate (I think that it was Charles Ngo, but I'm not sure) and the interviewer asked him to give an advice for beginners. He said to people stop spending a lot of time on forums, blogs, reading emails, etc and spend more time on their own businesses. I agree with him. This forum is full of useful information as well as many other blogs, but the best way we have to learn a system is with trial and error. Experience is the best teacher, and it's impossible to make any money online without taking action and keeping focused.

Taking action is definitely one of the most important steps - if not the only important step in creating your online business.

The distracting things like email, forums, reading blogs etc shouldn't even be done during your "work time"

Whether you are making a full time or part time income off of the internet - you should have some semblance of a schedule.

Even though we do this for the freedom - we should try to have some sort of routine or schedule or even make ourselves a weekly schedule to try and stay on task.

All of the distracting items should be held off until the end of your work time and used to relax you, gain some knowledge and transition yourself off the computer.

So are you the actual Annoying Orange guy? Or did you just take on that persona in this forum merely because you're a fan?

Arg - you caught me! Even though this can be considered bull****tin' around, I consider networking a big part of my job. I enjoy meeting and helping new people here, it gives me motivation to work even harder and longer.

You make a great point, but it will only go through one ear
and out the other.

I know this was the case for me because there was no
single thread, post, or book that made me take action and
do something.

It was a decision I made to myself.

It's one of those things where you either have it, don't
have it and CHOOSE to develop it, or will NEVER have it.

Even when something doesn't go as planned, I always pat
myself on the back for doing it anyways.

I can live with that.

What I can't live with is knowing that I had the opportunity
to go for it, and consciously stepped down -- out of fear.

Unfortunately, my philosophy about taking action towards
anything in life will not apply to most people. They will surely
be the ones to live their last days on this earth in regrets.
