CPA + Facebook Targeting = Money

Hey guys so I am going to give you a quick overview on how to make money with CPA + Facebook

1) Get a offer which requires 4-8 fields (example insurance lead)

2) Use google adplanner to find the demographics of the users

3) Use quancast or alexa to confirm the demographics and this makes sure that ad planner and these services have similar information about the site.

4) Use facebooks ads targeting of age and interest type and narrow your demographics (For interest - if you targeting people for car insurance, use things like cars, motor vehicle etc etc)

5) Use state level targeting, this shall give you ability to write targeted ads, so if you are targeting Texas users, write in your ad "Texas State Car Insurance"

6) Optimize your ads with different images and body. Try out images with cars, car accidents etc etc

Hope this helps

I always use keywords. Never had much luck personally with broad targeting.

You can't call out user attributes anymore though. Well, technically - there is always a way to get ads through.

I also want to give one advice ...

Make sure that you combine both demographic and Psychological targeting options so as to get the most success from your campaign .

Hey mate, it is CPC with 10-20 ads and followed by CPM of the best performing ads in smaller demographics.

For a better explanation you can watch the video below.

I always prefer to start with CPC .

I only switch to CPM once I get a good CTR for my ads .

The truth is if you have good CTR , CPM is very cheap as compared to CPC.

      Hope it helps.

I think when we try something for 1st time and think Oh wait, I might be doing this wrong or Is it gonna work the way I want it to be and desperately needed some help or guidelines. We look here and there, search our favorite forums and big G for help and guess what, we find people sharing the same problems and trying to solve it.

Yes, I found this thread and believe I'll get something valuable out of it. I started my FB campaign last night CPM, tried to find some information before starting out but you know when it's 1st time we make mistakes and we don't know until someone tells us.

@nzdealer please find the attachment below. Would you mind if I shoot some questions on your PM. I just signed for Facebook Advertiser - Learn how to advertise on facebook using their ads platform (Free)

Pure realism for 99% of people, that noone from noobs (%99) want to see and take into consideration. Inspite of that newcomers tend to collect success stories and follow that.

And only experience with loosing and attaining some % of profit will lead to your own point of view.

Hope you know what you are saying.

Is there way to find CPA offers based on demographics ?

Lets say I found a great site about fishing and check out demographics of the site on Google, Alexa etc. Site looks great, lots of UVs.

Now I want to take this demographics and find all offers in fishing so that I can buy ads on this site.

Is there anything available to do this?

        Thanks

how are you setting up your campaigns?

for example... i'm promoting a dating offer for men. Obviously i'm going to target males, single, looking for females....

First , you need to identify the demographics of the CPA offer tat you want to promote with facebook , then you set your targeting options based on the results of the demographic tool .

Especially , if you are promoting dating offers , make sure that you use the "relationship" and "interested in" targeted offers .

      Hope it helps .

cool cool.... thanks guys.... started the cpc tests first.

yeah, i mean we're targeting 25-45, males interest. in women and who are single.

might be harder to drill down because its not like single guys put 'dating' stuff on their FB profiles.... vs a hobby etc.

    or am i missing something?
