PPV Not Converting...Wrong Network?

I'm not complaining. I just started with MediaTraffic a few weeks ago. I've already used up my $200 deposit. I've tested and tested more than enough with different campaigns ranging from downloads, to rebills, to gaming, to insurance and finance. I've direct linked, used landing pages and tracked everything and so far I've only had 3 small conversions (not possible to optimize) and have a great hosting plan (every click goes through). I'm aware and have implemented pretty much every trick there is to PPV. I read in an earlier post that MediaTraffic's quality has greatly decreased throughout this year. I don't know if thats true or not but is anyone profiting with them at the moment (more than a couple bucks a day)? I would also like to know you guy's experience with other networks such as LeadImpact. I'm aware that TrafficVance is great but I don't have 1k to invest and referral at the moment.

Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

Check how fast your LPs are loading. Also use the title tag efficiently because they see this first. Finally, dont be afraid to cut your losses. PPV isn't as simple as gurus have made it out to be. IMO it has a steep learning curve.

Media Traffic's quality has gone down over the course of the last year. It still converts but not nearly as well as it used to. Depending on what offers you are promoting, Lead Impact or Adon can be great!

I just started campaigns on Adon over the weekend, so far I am seeing great conversions and the traffic is cheap, just not a whole lot of it. These things can change at the drop of a hat.

In my opinion if ya cant swing TV, try LI or Adon.

dont use adon network, their traffic was crap.... not sure on mediatraffic... haven't tried them yet.... heard they were ok..... maybe try trafficvance.... but you need a $1k deposit.

You absolutely right - Trafficvance is by far the best bet - Like you say, you do need $1000 investment, but your ROI speaks for itself!

i tried adon and their traffic converted fine just because you have a few bad campaigns does not mean that a certain traffic source does not convert

Don't give an opinion about things you don't know. AdOn traffic is one of the best cpv traffic sources out there in terms of quality. Wish I could say the same things about quantity....

    lol.... are you kidding me?

    are you that insecure?

listen buddy, you're on here since march 2009. you have 142 posts.

    show a little respect noob.

You're not going to make a lot of friends here with an attitude like that.

The mods might even kick you out.

i'm speaking from experience, from data... with the money i spent testing... in my opinion, ad on is one of the worst ppv's.... their traffic is brokered.

I have never used PPV, but I'm in the process of testing new things. I'm testing some things with mobile and probably will give PPV a try soon. I just asked my affiliate manager some questions by email and he recommended me Traffic Vance. We still have to chat, but it seems that I'll go with TV, anyway.

The best thing you can do is keep a close relationship with your AM. I consider myself an experienced internet marketer, but I haven't even considered the possibility of trying to figure out the whole PPV thing by myself. So stop what your are doing now and go get some advice, ask your affiliate manager what is converting well with PPV and he will probably give you some valuable advice.

I'm not sure what you're doing but there's more to cpv traffic then just bidding on some keywords and adding your affiliate link to the destination url.

We ran some traffic with Adon network in Germany not so long ago and the traffic was fine, even though it didn't back out to our CPA. I can see how it would work well in some veritcals.

What type of strategy are you using?
Well first off, I never "fish" where others do. In other words, I wont bid on any keywords/urls that anyone else currently is even if there is only one person bidding. I don't believe in that and I think that it is stupid. I'll either go elsewhere or bid on a different part of that url where there is no competition. Doing this still gets me plenty of targetted traffic. My landing pages are great (not misleading) and my CTR is usually around 10%. Some of these same adcopy/landing pages have got me ROI's up to 1000% back when I could get things running in Google/MSN. I'm aware that PPV is different though and have set them up accordingly for PPV.

By the way, since I've started this thread, I threw up an iPhone/iPad offer with a $2.20 payout that is converting but is still BARELY profitable and not really worth running. My EPC is around $0.07 but the network EPC says it's $0.40. The only think I can think of now is that I'm running the wrong type of offers even though I've tried pretty much every type. May I ask what type of offers you know that work with MT? Feel free to PM me if you want.

Have you tested your landing page against another version?

Tried changing the header, copy, call to action etc. These things make a big difference. Such as if your page takes too long to load or looks wonky in a certain browser. I spend a lot of time split testing the right lander, and the results can be seen in my lander packs.
