What's the deal with incentive CPA?

Hi all
been playing around with cpa for a while now and doing OK but how does incentivized cpa work? I've bought the FSRevolution package to run it off but where do you get the offers to put in front of people, every network I'm a member of seems to recoil at the mention of incent.
Also, if I got this up and running do you pay people 30net etc. or do you just take it on the chin until the cash flow starts to roll in?
I've a feeling this is just the start of a number of questions that will come up so if there's anyone that's been through it maybe we could talk the talk
Cheers

CPA is essentially getting people to fill out information (leads) and then you as the affiliate turning around and selling those leads to a merchant who tries to monetize the leads on the backend. The network is a pass through entity that facilitates this process.

Incentivization means that one can give people an incentive to fill out your CPA offers. Presumably, since people have an incentive, they are more likely to fulfill the action. But you must also keep in mind that if you are giving out a free ebook as an incentive, many people will fill out the CPA offer just to get the free ebook without any intention of pursuing whatever CPA offer they filled out. So, lead quality is normally less than a non-incent offers, and thus payouts on incentivized offers are normally lower.

Many people do very well doing incent, but its not something I have personally spent a lot of time doing.

BE SURE to check with your AM to make sure you can incentivize before you do it, or else networks can deny commissions. Normally networks make it very clear what offers can be incentivized and if its not clear or you dont see anything about it, then assume you cant incentivize.

    Best of luck

But do you know of any network that specializes in incent offers or have I just got to do the legwork?

The previous comments hit some of the big ones.

Also keep in mind that many of the larger networks also have some incent offers. Normally you can do a search at these networks for just the incent allowed offers!

Best of luck, not something I do a lot, but many people do big numbers in this area!

Incentive offers are great way to promote and its easily converts but quality of the leads will be poor

it all depends on what you are trying to incent...

Gateways like Leadbolt, Adscend, CPALEAD etc rock for offer incentivzation when the content is what users are looking for

another major source of incent is virtual currency... companies like Offerpal, TrialPay, and GWallet have made a fortune through exchanging incentable offers for virtual currency.

So its all about what you want to do

Thanks to all that have replied, plenty to investigate. But has anyone actually set an incent site up? Looks like incent offers aren't a problem but is it a case of sticking them in by hand and keeping tabs as you go - if someone takes a free trial should you repay their S&H in the cash/points back - what's the procedure - is there one? Feel an ebook coming on. Thanks again
