ppc newbie

it seems to me that ppc and/or ppv are the leaders of the pack. I have a little cap to play with and would like to go this route but i know NOTHING about it. What would be a good tutorial/wso for ppc start to finish? I have been reading and understanding the cpa system for the most part.

I do admit though, I am nervous and have been putting off getting started because i dont know EVERYTHING there is to know. Im afraid of messing up or writing a million articles and not getting them seen because I did something wrong.

If only I could borrow Kenster for one day to show me everything, I think it would solve all my problems haha

    I recommend starting and just going for it, only focus on 1 campaign at a time, and 1 keyword at a time for each ad group. You will be rewarded for doing so.

    Another tip, and this is big, look at the landing page of the offer your promoting and use some of the keywords on the landing page in your ad groups or url's if you are using PPV.

    IMO.. just take it easy at first, try to learn.. read all you can try to ignore the BS guru stuff and just focus on the facts and how the system(s) work, then clamp down and start doing.. this will be the most important part..

    IMO, paid traffic is the way to go. However, many people need to get started with free traffic methods because they need to build their budget. If this is not your case, great! So you can move on directly to the next stage.

    But before you start throwing your money on Google, Facebook or any other PPC platform (you can also start with PPV, but I think that PPC is a bit easier) you need to learn as much as you can about this business. Of course, you can find lot's of useful information for free on this forum and also on many blogs out there. However, if you're a looking for an all-inclusive course that will speed up the learning process I recommend you to take a look on Chad's Conversion University (make some research on the WSO section). His course is 10h+ long, but it explains very well how to create campaigns for best PPC platforms.

    However, make sure that you really have money to spend (lose) before getting started with PPC. You will have to go through a learning curve to start profiting with paid advertising, so be prepared to lose money in the beginning. If you are planning to invest on PPC the money that you would use to buy a toy for your kid or feed your family in the hope that it will return to you in few days, please, don't do it! This game is profitable, but first you need to learn how to play it, and it may cost you money!

    You always can google some free coupons for you to start off with. I started with Bidvertiser. Almost all PPC networks has coupon for you to start of with. Taste what its like. Spend the money wisely and watch them closely. Keep expanding the keywords that are converting. =)

    Williamrs is a great guy here. With great knowledge. So does Kenster. Probably you cant hire them or rent them for a day. Because they are EXPENSIVE!
