i have a specific question.


how long do you test your campaigns before deciding to keep it or scrap it?


more specifically how long do you keep a link live before you know it's a keeper or you need to scrap it?


is it a time limit or do you stop at a certain amount of impressions that don't convert?


also is their anyway to track what link brought the conversion?

    that's hard to answer, but normally I leave it running till I spend at least 5 times what the offer pays, if I see Zero conversions, Im move on

    It's very difficult to answer.. obviously everyone has a different strategy.. and it also depends on if your using a landing page, rotating offers, how many keywords/urls, etc..

    I normally pick a budget based on the payout of the offer, then if I can't make it profitable after rotating in a bunch of different things, I move on to the next one

    Wow 5 times the offer - that's brave

    For a newwb you need to have in mind that you may not see the returns often promised until you start tracking and split testing

    I would run till at least double though

    Also I aim for around 1 in 10 so 1 decent offer and 9 duds or break evens

    you only need a couple and then nurture them and keep it sweet.
    that's why its a big secret what ones work lol

    always add in MACROS so that you can pass back the data into the analytics.
    I generally run 2-2.5 X payout to test a source/keyword.

    I actually just did a posting on this, not even 5 minutes ago. I'll answer your questions to the offer, as to how long to keep it. If you spent more then $200 dollars and it's not breaking even or profitable. You would probably be best trying another offer. Speaking you do know what your doing on the advertising end.

    Generally if you spend 2X the payout of the offer and still don't see any conversions , it's time to move on
