Powerful Direct CPV Strategy?

Hey there Warriors,

I've been experimenting with PPV and CPV traffic lately, particularly with DirectCPV.com to start with.

I have a lot more experience with traditional PPC in Google and Bing/Yahoo and found out quickly that the same strategies do not really apply in the same way to CPV.

What is the right way to setup and execute a CPV campaign? I'm sure everyone would love to hear your thoughts on how you use CPV marketing successfully.

Feel free to share some powerful strategies here.

Talk soon,
Matthew Neer

don't bother with directcpv, they are very expensive, try lead impact & TV,they are much cheaper and have more traffic.

aside from choosing the right cpv/ppv network to work with...

one mistake many people make when getting started in ppv is loading in url targets that are going to eat up their budget very quickly without actually having a whole lot of targeting involved.

when loading in your targets, try to find at least 100 deep urls. for example:
if you wanted to target people shopping for an ipad...
you may think, hey there's a lot of people looking for an ipad on ebay, but if you were to load the url
    Code:
    www.ebay.com
you would find yourself losing money very quickley, but you may have luck if you load in
    Code:
you may want to try tools like laserurl or ppvsniper to help you find your targets.
    hope this helps.

Funny you mention running an iPad offer, just threw one of those up yesterday to test the waters except wasn't too sure on the domain thing yet so I just uploaded about 300 keywords targeting iPhone, iPad, and MacBooks.

How do you feel about that? Is that a good strategy and do you think it will convert?

And if you got the time, what would you do?

      Thanks for your feedback,
