Hi Guys

I am trying a CPA offer on you-tube . I made like 30 videos and got about 5000 views in a month . and only 3 conversions.

is this conversions right? for a offer.

what to considere a good conversion on a offer? 1 out of 10 clicks/views

each pays $ 1.50 per lead .

Now for how long should we keep trying a Offer ?

1 week, 1 month ?

Please any advice on it will be very appreciate.

Well good for you. I the same amount of videos and got no conversion. I tried everything else (SEO) and got a break.

If one thing does not work, try another thing. Its not the end of the line. There are so many ways to make conversions... and there are so many factors why an offer is not converting.

Have you checked the conversion rate of that offer?

And remember that youtube is not a targeted traffic...people go there to watch videos and entertain themselves - not to find free stuffs or buy products. Unless you are offering locked content campaigns, youtube is horrible.

well my advice to you is to create 30 other videos that generate 5000 other view, then an other 30 videos and so on, if you multiplied the process, the income will multiply. There are people in this forum that created 30 videos each days for months, so your 30 videos are not enough.

Also, like Adie suggested, try content locked, it might be better.

look this NEWBIES!! MAKE MONEY WITH CPA NOW!! - DONT READ IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF HARD WORK!!

    Well Fabio,
Firstly my advice is to you to produce more videos to gather more viewer. It's a great opportunity for you to double your income.
Secondly You should keep trying an offer for minimum one month.
Finally Keep it in your mind that people gather in your site to get entertained not to find free stuff. So focus on to make them satisfied.

    That's right.
Youtube is not for directly marketing.

You can build a site, embed a YT video, to save bandwith with your hosting provider, for marketing.
From your site direct prospects to your YT video.

I use free classified ads and if they produce I upgrade to paid.
Sometimes a good classi costs $5.00 a month to keep in the top position.

Probably, people will look at your 30 videos and not even signup. Less buy.

Of course, you have to use classi's that target prospects with your CPA offer interests.

I have had free ads running for months without one single signup.

There are other videos options that you can use, too.

    Sincerely,

    Antonios

Have you tried rotating the offer to see if another offer converts better?

Are you using an annotation such as a speech bubble which highlights that you have an offer. Make some appealing text and point it towards your description box.

Also, have you optimized the video well for search tags? Goto Google keyword tool, type in the main keyword of your video then use some of the highest search keywords as your tags.

I'm not one for youtube marketing myself, but I was browsing the resources within LazyProfits network and they had a great tutorial for using youtube for targeted gaming traffic. It never hurts to join additional networks, but if you are determined to make a go with youtube, you may wanna add LazyProfits to your arsenal of networks and check out their tutorial for youtube.

CPA definitely does not suck. I've managed to make over $2,000 using CPA in a few months span, yes I am aware this isn't much but I am a complete noob and made this using free methods.

I suggest you brainstorm and think of other ways to drive traffic to your offers, there are better ways for free traffic than YouTube, remember think outside the box!

    Hey

Some things are fundamentally wrong with your approach:

    1) Youtube videos for good traffic (quality usually sucks)
    2) Zip/Email submits

You will NOT get rich doing either. Instead, concentrate on PPC and better offers with higher payouts like insurance products. I get up to $90 bucks a lead, no CC required. THAT is serious money!

Any questions just let me know

Well, I think you are on to something here. That is quite a good number of viewers.

Now, it is a matter of scaling with multiple videos, as suggested by some of the members here, or try promoting a higher value offers. Youtube traffic might not be targeted, but with high payout, it might be worth a try.

Or you could just try another approach, and use ppc to cpa marketing strategies. the advantage is that ppc can provide you with much better targeted traffic.

Hi Fabio...I did pretty well with video marketing when I was starting out and here are my comments.

For starters, video marketing conversion isn't good. BUT, that doesn't mean you can't make money. I did and others do all the time. Normally you will need to either have your videos go viral or do what I did and create tons of videos. Both is very hard work but the good thing is that its free (monetarily, not time).

As for your conversions, there really isn't a rhyme or reason or a specific number you should look for. Clearly it will all depend on your traffic, your offer, the payout, ease of conversion, targeting of the video, etc.

I liked to do mid to higher payout offers myself because the simple submits are a pain in the neck in general and there is a lot of hassle because not all conversions are credited, etc etc.

The most important thing to remember is to build campaigns that will last. Make sure your videos are niche specific and not offer specific so you can keep the campaign even after the CPA offer dies.

If I were to go back, I would probably send all youtube traffic to a good solid site. Build the site with SEO and use it as a lander. Your short term profits won't be as high as doing a straight one page lander or direct linking, but you are establishing a solid web property, an asset. Further, some networks/advertisers won't accept video traffic so you can turn the video traffic into web traffic by filtering through a site.

So there are many ways to do video marketing. It works but its a lot of work..like everything in the IM world!

Gotta make $5 a day before you make $50, $500, etc, right!
