Hi Im a total noob when it comes to cpa - Ive got the concept down fine and ive signed up to a few networks - cpa lead , copeac and max bounty --

now that i've chosen an offer
- when it says get tracking code that obviously has your aff id in it --- but its just a text link - with no images

my question is if you want to create a page on your site with this URL landing page on - you have to do a redirect to that url - is this allowed with most networks ? or do an iframe with the offer page on it ?

so i have my site -- tech .com and a page tech .com/freeipad
to get my offer on there i us a redirect or iframe to the code they give you -
is this expected / normal ?

a few other q's

when it says contextual what is this ?
when it says search what is this ?

do you know if these guys [ cpa lead , copeac and max bounty] are ok with offline - flyer type traffic ? - `

cheers for you help

Contextual Advertising involves a bot crawling the text of a website for keywords and returns advertisements to the webpage based on what the user is viewing. The advertisements may be displayed on the webpage or as pop-up ads. For example, if the user is viewing a website pertaining to sports and that website uses contextual advertising, the user may see advertisements for sports-related companies, such as memorabilia dealers or ticket sellers. It's all based around the content and serving relative AD's.

Search advertising is sold and delivered on the basis of keywords. The user of a search engine enters keywords to make queries. Search engines conduct "running auctions" to sell ads according to bids received for keywords and relative relevance of user keywords to ads in the inventory.

Why don't you email me so we can discuss the off-line marketing in more detail. It's going to depend on the type of offer you're looking to use for this venture...
