I'm wondering about these old programs from 2009...

I have a question. This is for the folks who bought Frank Kern's "Screw Google" and "Infomillionaire" Also if you bought other CPA training products like Gauher Chaudhry's Pay per click formula version 2.

A friend showed me videos from these programs and they looked really good and were very informative. Now my little bit of research tells me that these programs were released in 2009.

My question is do you think the info from these programs is still relative today or have technologies and techniques made them obselete?

Let me preface this by saying I haven't seen the exact three courses you mention (though I vaguely remember doing Gauher's orginal course way back when).

Old techniques certainly evolve into something slightly different and new techniques are found that you won't find in a 2009 course (that's how gurus pump out new courses every other day). And sure, new technologies such as the mobile & tablet markets now exist that weren't really around back then.

    However.....

IMHO, the fundamentals in CPA/CPV haven't really changed that much and that's what you need to get right. Then you can develop your own techniques rather than rehashing someone else's that 1000's of others are trying to use too.

CPA/CPV isn't like SEO or Adwords PPC where the goal posts move every time Matt Cutts and his cronies fart!! And to be honest, whether a technique was released in 2009 or Feb 2011, do you really want to be using the same technique as 1000 other people, all using the same landers, chasing the same keywords, URLs, offers & dollars?

So by all means, I say use the old info to get the fundamentals, put your thinking cap on and put your own twist on things. Hey, you may even find a great 2009 technique that still works but everyone else has moved on to the new, shiny 2011 technique

    Cheers

1- So since the fundamentals don't change, do you believe that Screw Google, Infomillionaire andPay per click formula version 2 provide enough of the basics to begin building on? In short, would you start with them(or similar prgm) or would you just scour this fourm?

I agree however here is my challenge there has to be a way to do it and I need to start somewhere. I can't believe that everything changes so quickly that even late 2009 methods are completely obsolete. Mean even when I'm looking through these posts some of the hot threads are from 2009. So that seems to be telling me something.

Of the ones you mentioned I've only heard of ppc formula 2, and honestly by now it's kind of outdated
