Hi Warriors,
I have a question about prosper that I'm hoping someone will be able to
answer.
My question is can you run prosper in a sub directory of a domain or does it definitely have to be the root directory?

No, it won't work in a subdirectory of a domain, has to be root.

However, you can run it in a sub domain which is basically the same thing.

    Cheers

Or just buy a junk .info and run it strictly on that so your competitors can't see a main domain of yours if that is where you want to install it.

^^^ That's by far the best option if your hosting account allows add-on domains

    Thanks for the help,
    I have another question.
I have tracking installed, & it was working fine,
but now when I visit through the links it shows up in my prosper statistics but not when facebook traffic clicks through the links. Is prosper not working correctly or is facebook charging me for clicks that never happened?
    Thanks,
    Divined.

Facebook are pretty reliable as far as sending/reporting real clicks, though you will see some discrepancy. Sounds to me more like you've made an error somewhere, either the URL you've entered in your ad is messed up or a script inbetween Prosper and Facebook. Are you running a redirect script somewhere?

      Hi Filter,
      I'm actually not running a re-direct script.
I have a landing page setup, & when I visit the link through the ad, it shows my data on prosper. But when others visit it doesn't show at all.
I have cloaking turned on. What do you think the issue could be?
      Thanks,
      Divined.

Facebook reporting is not real time. That could be it. Do the clicks show up the next day on FB?

      Hi PPC-Coach,
Thank you for your help in this thread & in my other thread.
The clicks are showing up on facebook, but not on prosper.
However if I visit the link through facebook, the clicks do show up on prosper.
What do you think the problem could be?
