Generating Leads Offline Using CPA [By:KenB]

Last weekend I was sitting at home trying to think of new ways to generate leads for my CPA's without having to do to much. I want to share with you a cool idea I came up with. Its really rather easy.

I found a CPA offer available in my country and then phoned every major newspaper to put in a classified ad.

The offer I decided to promote was a Payday Loan place, I set up a domain similar to the offers company name and finalized the booking with the newspapers.

The ad directed everyone to the domain name I had set up and then I had a simple redirect to my CPA URL. Then waited for the papers to be printed.

The CPA offer was paying $30 for every successful application, well this method generated just over 500 applications so far and they are still coming in.

$15 000 income
$600 expenses

Go hard!

If you don't mind me asking, where are you from?

P.S.: Congratulations. A simple and effective method.

Where are you from? Around here $600 might not buy a single newspaper ad in a local paper. No chance of it getting in a major paper.

Your idea is really very good to get targeted traffic with a high conversion rate. But using this method you will get only local customers not global. The cost of newspaper advertisement depends upon the worth of the papers. Good and popular newspapers have more readers.

I've done a lot of offline CPA and haven't seen those kind of results on a regular re-direct campaign (no optimization and no pre-selling) for an ad spend of $600.

You are either breaking new ground or you got lucky...hopefully the former

There is almost always a way to market in the US, even if you aren't from the US. All my dealings with papers has been by phone and how would they know if I am calling from the US or from the Philippines!

      If there's a will, there's a way!

    Ken,

I am in the process of doing some offline advertising in classifieds to regional publications. I am doing a lot of research into the publications and also the CPA offer and/or affiliate product to make sure I have a quality offer matched with the publication.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

You can absolutely direct link...why not!! Sometimes its helpful and necessary to build out a funnel, but sometimes direct linking IS the best approach!
