Why arent people that are currently driving CPA traffic complimenting their ad space with easy CPM offers?

I am relatively new to the CPA scene but it seems like a no brainer to monetize unused ad space as fully as possible right?

What am I missing here.

    Hi,

    Your statement confuses me.

Do you mean using CPM to drive traffic to CPA offers?

What I know is, CPM means "Cost Per One Thousand Impressions".

    Please clarify.

Perhaps using CPM to describe impression based ad revenue is not the correct usage of the acronym though i've not read/seen any other terms for it.

Typically while browsing the forum I see a lot of talk about CPA/CPC and how to increase it. If there are 2-3 banners/ads on a given page utilizing CPA why dont the CPA folks put things (like adsense) on their page to further generate revenue from that unused adspace.

Impression based revenue models seem to be a nice way to supplement revenue while the CPA campaigns get traction.

I think this idea can work with some sites, specially the ones getting organic traffic, but sometimes it can be not good because competing ads on the same page may damage each other's performance.

The payment model is based on impressions though... not click through.

So as long as the site is getting page views...

CPM traffic is more expensive in the initial test phase, mostly. Theoretically, yes CPM is the best way to go when you know your offer is converting because it's cheaper.

If you are trying to test 10 campaigns to find out which will work, I'd say CPC is definitely better to weed out big losers.

            Hi,

Certain times of the day make my mind slow in picking things up. Sorry.

OK ........... This is about monetizing unused space. One of the monetizing
methods you're suggesting is by placing Ads based on CPM payouts instead
            of CPC.

This is interesting. I'm totally ignorant about this model.

Do you know any Media Network offering such payment model?

POF is strictly CPM. Facebook gives you the choice between CPC and CPM also.

                Hi Jeff,

I think you're as confused as I was earlier. lol.

What Kent meant is getting paid for CPM placements.
Not about paying networks to Advertise offers.

So I was wondering whether there are networks actually
paying Publishers to place Ads and pay Publishers based on CPM.

azmanar you're dead on sir. Thank you.

The company I work for provides CPM ad placement with 0 risk to bring revenue to sites that may be struggling with their CPA or CPC campaigns. Its just putting an ad tag on the site and facilitating the traffic through.

Its painless and helps supplement other revenue streams so I was confused as to why more people arent utilizing this service.

                    Hi Kent,

In most cases, I'm always the most confused person in the initial stage. lol.
Most warriors were extremely patient to help me understand.

The very reason I'm not utilizing this income stream is because I'm totally ignorant
about the availability of such CPM based payouts for Publishers.

As long as we have basic filter options of what can come out in the CPM Ads,
I would be very pleased if you could introduce me to such offers.

To stay out of trouble with a spectrum of visitors, I normally filter out 5 areas :

In todays world there is lots of competition so both as CPA/CPC or CPM not work well. Think as per my view

" in single day i search a roundly 200 word with all major search engines and all time and i was shoched when geting few ads about money making programme with sensitive and heart touching sentense any one evevn me to click on it few second think to buy or not but i admire that guy who promote this product"

So its totally depend on seo and Keywords which you are using to promote products

Now there are lots of ways to promote product or advertising as Video, Banner, Text, Flash Banner, Inline ads, so it is the key factor and technique as For CPM only give banner ads and for text only put CPC this method majorly work and another thing is what you want as making brand or making money buy selling or get information of visitor whats action you wish and want to pay for the useful and important action is Send to Transaction page
