Traffic Question

I have a website that when a user clicks on the page, it automatically sends them to the offer. If I buy traffic to my website and send them to the page that sends them directly to the offer, what is considered the referrer? the page of my site that sent them there? or where the traffic originated from to get them to my page? Like when CJ asks where the traffic came from, what would I say? My website?

    Does commission J allow direct redirects? I have 5 links on a crappy website that could be consider a really tiny link farm haha. but I have been successful. I just want to make sure I am not getting commissions held back for the 3rd straight month.

    The first time was for putting links on te's and the second was (unknown to me) throwing them directly on adult sites. (Which I was buying from the non-adult category, so I thought it'd be on a non adult website)

    I dont blind link, there is a description of what it is before they click on it and get redirected. although should i start putting like Intuit, Evoice, etc.?

    You'd better ask your program manager to check it out, but from my limited experience, unless you have other traffic resources, or this derect redirect won't be allowed. And even if it's been allowed, the conversion rate won't be very high.

    Commission Junction just said to me that I need to send them the referring URL, which if my url redirects customers to the offer, then isnt my URL the referring URL? CJ to me is trying to keep my commissions, which is BS. they literally are making no sense whatsoever. I ask them questions that they dont answer. STAY AWAY FROM CJ. you end up wasting your money in the long run with this BS company

    The original traffic source is the main referrer . Your website is simply used as a bridge.

    To be exact , you better discuss with your affiliate manager.
