Do some days in the week get you less traffic/conversions?

Hey,

I've only had my site up for about 4 days now, half way through yesterday and all of today ive noticed a significant decline in traffic and conversions.

1st day: 44 visits = 2 conversions
2nd day: 54 visits = 3 conversions
3rd day: 54 visits = 2 conversions (traffic seemed to stop halfway through the day)
Today: 16 visits = 0 conversions (so far)

would like a bit of advice, cheers :]

Yes! This happens all the time and you should be tracking it Good Stuff....Eventually you find exactly what day of the week is your best day. When you do this you can push offers hard!

    Blink, are you using PPC?
Yes, it also happens to me and can be frustrating at first. Keep plugging away though.

Also a bit of advice - add a signature to your warrior forum and make sure to include your website link. (Don't forget to review the signature guidelines). When I saw your post, the first thing I went to do was find your website link in your signature so I could see your website. Only it wasn't there. So not only does that help with SEO, but also gets you some additional visitors here and there when you post in the forum.

Best of luck to you and your tracking. Chad said it well.

what a relief :], I ended up getting around about half the average traffic today and no conversions but it seems like an off day, hopefully things will pick up again in the next few days.

ill be adding my site to my signature soon :].

Blink, this has been an awful Saturday for me also. Last Saturday was great, today is dead, it happens.

Nicole - I clicked on your signature site and explored a bit. VERY NICE! some quality free info there. Are you building a list at all with that website? If not, have you considered it?

This is not abnormal, this is why we need a large sample size when evaluating campaigns

That seems pretty normal really. I wouldn't overly worry about it. Statistics even out in the long run.

I have noticed the same thing when I do pof campaigns. I notice the mornings are really slow for me but a good time to get ads approved lol. I just track that info for later use when setting up a new campaign.

Do you mind sharing your niche? B2B service website gets most of the traffic on Tuesdays. Not much traffic on weekends.

Saturdays aren't good for conversions generally, no matter what I'm promoting.

I've noticed weekday evenings are great for conversions. Not sure why.

Wednesdays also suck for me! Mondays Thursdays Saturdays and Sundays are usually my big days.

you need a lot more traffic to tell.
try to hit around 50 conversions per day ...

I did that and when I decided to scale it, fund it more ...boom -50% ROI which is awwwwful

Not just days of the week, certain hours of the day can be worse too. Depends on the niche, you'll just have to track everything and see if you can spot any trends once you have some nice data to go off.
