Any guaranteed ways to get leads? (offline)

Ok so I live in the most densly populated state in US (NJ) and just got into 2 networks. I have TONS of potential around here mainly because of how many different areas I can think of that are constantly packed with people on a daily basis. Train stations, parks, schools, college campus's, concerts, pnc art center which hosts MASSIVE events every couple weeks or so, flea markets, clubs, bars, there really is so many places I can go at any given time.

I'm thinking incentivized offers although cheaper will be easiest to do. I think they can help grab peoples attention initially than I can rely on my psychology/marketing skills to design solid offers/contests/etc.

My question is I'm really just looking for ideas.

I saw the mobile marketing thing at clubs with short text code and I thought it was a great idea. I will definitely try it out but right now I'm looking for things that I can possibly do for free.

What are some goods ways to go about this? I saw some guy putting ads in windows of stores (asking permission) and I honestly thought that was a lazy/bad idea (no offense to whoever it was). I've worked in a supermarket years ago and NEVER saw anyone looking at the ads on the windows ever. Maybe 1 out of every 100 people stop and look but its just one idea I don't plan on doing unless theres some form of actual strategy to it.

Are there any guaranteed ways I can get leads just starting out? I don't care if its only a few I'd just rather have some type of strategy vs going out into the world with a useless shotgun type approach.

For people who have actually made money with CPA what are some good things I can start looking into to be successful? I have a dog park down the road (one of the biggest in the state) that can sometimes have 100-200 people walking around. Was thinking I can use a pet offer of some type there if possible. Then I have flea markets I was thinking about buying a table at ($10 for the whole day) and maybe I can set up a booth and advertise a contest? I have a town nearby that is a "party town" and has about 10 bars and 5 clubs within a 2 mile radius. Was also thinking I can market there.

Are there any more creative ways to go about CPA in the offline arena?

First off, you think of a certain demography that you want to target, such as women 20-35, for example. Think about a possible offer that would relate to that age group. Maybe an offer to win a makeup set, possibly. This is all an example.

Don't, and I MEAN DO NOT SHOOT IN THE WIND! That is TOO broad to just shoot the breeze and no real targets (demography targets) "propped up" . You will NEVER win that way. Narrow to a target demographic. That is what I mean, because that is VITAL to this game's survival.

Get permission from hair salons and other places that the example demographic may visit, for example, from what I said, to place cards, or smaller flyers with an image and your site to get the item from. Cards may be good, so the salon lady can recommend and give a card for the clientele to remember the site that you want them to land at.

Print an image of the item that you are targeting and the web address of where the offer is that regards the item in question.

Ask shop owners and so on if you CAN place the cards. Also, for more juice, ask if they would be willing to hand out the cards with the item/offer in question WITH website included!

Yeh I'm just happy I got accepted into my first network tbo. Just seeing the blank list in my statistics is driving me crazy. I'm on a mission to get at least $1 in there within 48 hours. I just don't want to go weeks or months like other people do not getting success.

As far as demographics go I don't feel like I care about a particular set or niche of people. I'd be more interested in what demographics carry the most potential leads. Is there any specific groups of people who are the most lucrative to go after? I see men spending a lot of money on electronics/sports/cars and women spending even more money on clothes/pocketbooks/books/fashion/culture/jewelry. Although I haven't researched that. But I'd think women in general would be more open about ads isn't this true? I think I remember reading that they are more willing to talk on the phone, volunteer for things, participate in research etc. Could have swore it was in a couple psych books I read a while ago.

Anyway I'm not sure what age would be best to go after. 18 seems too young to really have any financial stability and even 23 or 24 so many would be in college debt. I think 25-40 would be a good span to hit. Now I will find things that age group is interested in although I already have a few ideas. I wonder if I invested $100 in a victoria secret giftcard then advertised at my local Barnes & Noble or Borders or both on a saturday evening/night that would probably get a lot of attention.

The Barnes & Noble right by me specifically is jam packed with women in that age group I remember being there just last weekend I must have seen 200 in the 1 hour I was there. I mean the lines were about 40 ft long and about 75% female.
I'm also thinking WOW I should really try to get some DJ gigs or pay a DJ to advertise 5 mins before closing time at a club down the road from here. There are actually a lot of ways to go about this I should just sit down and write a list of ideas than cherry pick the best I think. =]

Haha wowwww! Never realized this before well I did just not so clearly. Offers are ALL OVER youtube. I'm just taking offers and entering them into youtube there are hundreds upon hundreds of people trying to advertise the more lucrative ones. Advertising murdered youtube lol.

Theres obviously money in CPA'n on youtube. But I'd think because its so easy to do theres likely a ton of competition. I need to find a low competition way to advertise and get consistent leads. I know this can't be THAT difficult to do. Guess we'll find out.
