Think BIG! Build CPA Authority Sites

Hey Fellow Warriors,

They say it's good to have a diversified portfolio of income streams and one of them is CPA. I've been thinking about creating an Authority site promoting CPA offers e.g Have an article on a weight loss product on the main page with text and banner ads, have a separate post with an article on credit score, one on car insurance, free ipad, surveys and so on. Basically building a separate post targeting separate keywords on each page.

Can you guys recommend any good resources to build a CPA Authority site? What is the best wordpress theme and plugins for a CPA site?

Any views and experiences would be useful.

Thanks

Ross

IMO if you build an authority website targeting only one niche that would be more effective , lets say why not only focus on weight loss niche ?

Thanks Speedy. Great advice. I can see the potential in specializing in one niche and then moving onto other niches.

Target one specific niche and in your case, weight loss niche.

Sounds like a cool project Jack. Good luck with that. My aim is to go for the bigger market due to the sheer size.

I used the 'connections' plugin to use as a Directory and then bought their marketing template for less than $20 I think it was. I am not going niche apart from the fact that the site will be targetting US affiliates wanting to enter the UK space and because I managed to buy a powerful 1998 site called affiliate-marketing of the uk variety!

    1) Focus on what you love
    2) Make sure that category is profitable, preferably evergreen, too
    3) Then ask yourself how you will drive traffic

If it is paid traffic to a landing page, then it doesn't matter what the rest of the site is about, because you will direct people to just one page, and hope they click off to the CPA offer.

    Hope this helped!

Great advice! Yeah, you have your point such a helpful thoughts.

If your targeting weight loss niche focus on that and make more traffic then for CPA also so that people would directly connected. Just focus on what you really like to promote.

I'd recommend building a brand in your niche. Whenever I build a new site I brand and it and try to make it an authority this way i can recommend multiple products in the same niche. Be prepared for some heavy SEO in the weight loss niche. Save your pennys!!

      Your absolutely right adrwcav.

I'm looking for a super niche rather than going after the popular ones due to the competition.

SEO? Stay away from SEO! With CPA there are way better options to get traffic.

Hi, just read your advise and thought it wise. My questions however are - How do you build a brand or how do you brand a new site? And; What do you mean by 'be prepared for some heavy search engine opt. in the weight loss niche?

I'm an IM rookie/novice/beginner/green horn (you get the picture?) and am on my way to set up a site on weight loss also and thought to promote various weight loss products on it.

      Look forward to your response.

      regards.

I'm not who you were asking, but my advice is to stay away from SEO entirely and stay away from the idea of branding entirely. Do ppc/ppv/ & other paid CPA techniques for traffic. Other than that, youtube videos will give you free traffic if you do it right.

It indeed is very wise to have multiple income streams. If you are, for example, doing SEO only, it can happen Google will slap all of your sites to oblivion (happened to me in the past) and if all your online presence is SEO-based, you may be screwed.

As per your strategy - I recommend that you build a separate site(s) in every market. I don't think the way you suggested doing things would work in terms of SEO.

      Hey Trevor,

That is some solid advice. I appreciate it.

      Cheers
