For now I only have 150$ for 7search (which becomes like 200$ with the coupon) but at first I want to try it out for myself and gather date, reinvest the money made and make even more money, but for now Ill pass it. In the future I might reconsider...

You hired a PPC expert on ODesk? Hmm... Chances are that the guy can set up the campaign, but I doubt he will be able to do the optimization and the other marketing aspects properly.

PPC experts are very expensive and it would be hard to hire one from a freelance site.

I do adwords and works well

he is actually a certified adwords ppc. he charges 20 per hour. from india....he seems good....i am sure he will doing alot better job than me. in the land of the blind, the man with 1 eye is king. i guess he is king for now lol. anyway, he has alot of ppc experience from his feedback.

Here's an idea for you assuming the business still lets you do something in particular which I will explain.

I used Adbrite years ago. They allowed you to create something like 100 different versions of your ad. Just like ppc anywhere else. The assumption is they still let you do this and they may not so you have to check it out.

What I used to do was find a good ad through testing and then take that ad over to Adwords and run it. Saves a lot of money because Adbrite is not as expensive as Adwords.

Keep in mind that some markets may perform better/worse at either place. But it does not cost much to test and find out.

I'm not interested in spending $40-$50 on PPC, but I'd like to offer my conversion data for anyone who is interested and already has an ESTABLISHED PAID TRAFFIC SOURCE (whether that be PPC/CPV or MEDIA BUYING). I drive my traffic to CPA offers from my email lists, and this data will be very beneficial.

If anyone is interested, I can start an email list an keep everyone informed on what's converting well and what is not.

$40 / $50 a day to test ads is really just beginner stuff many campaigns can take a much longer period to refine.

Rather than take on buddies just learn to do it yourself (see giggles starter guides) and invest your money until you have / make a profit, then use part of those profits to test out new campaigns and expand your business.

First, credit to him for trying, he is taking action. The action is a bit different, but it's action so that's a good thing. Thinking outside the box is a positive thing.

That said, I know guys who have tried this. They've tried outsourcing the campaign management to an expert, (apparently the expert you hired doesn't know you don't own logbook loans though) and they've failed. Logbook loans is a lead gen campaign, I hope you're getting a hefty pay per lead. If you take the pay per sale option, you'll be at the mercy of the company.

I started out doing UK secured loans on Adwords. I know it well and the market still has not quite come back to where it was in 2005. I don't think it's a good time to use adwords for it yet. I say that because adwords is now too expensive and payments for leads are too low from the merchant to make it work.

Once the UK economy starts coming back, lead prices will go up and it'll be worth it.

Good that you're taking action. You can use the JV section on the forum to post an offer where you share expenses and profits in a particular ratio. Obviously you may have to offer a larger share of profits to your JV partner otherwise no one will show much interest.

wow, what a backlash, now you guys are making think twice about doing this. i already did 2 days. anyway, just a learning experience for me and i apprecita all of your comments. you guys are right, i hate to be a t the mercy of anyone, including my ppc expert. i am already at the mercy of google, cpa network...this sucks, i need to control something...lol.

for ppc coach: my logbook coach says he is doing great with logbook loans. one thing with this forum, it is so damn confusing......nothing is straight forward....i guess if it was, everyone will doing it.....
