TagVillage - Kinda like Adwords but you own the keywords!

Tagvillage's foundation is a bit like that of Google Adwords. Yes it distributes advertisements and yes it costs money. Wait, don't click the back button yet, there's a solution for the 'it costs money' part keep on reading to know what I mean.

The big difference with adsense is that with tagvillage you get to own keywords, called tags. Tags start at 10 cents and give you the right to grab your share of the advertisers revenue which could be something from 5 cents to a few bucks per click. When I do the math, I sometimes fall of my chair due to the profit margin that some keywords are making.

The other benefit is that other members can also buy your keywords - the default price is 15% more than what you paid originally, so you're guaranteed a profit.

I've been using this for some mid-range keywords and i'm either earning a steady commission from ads on my keywords, or i'm buying low-cost keywords and flipping them. I'm also earning goodwill by using the built-in charity donation feature.

If you are looking to list ads, you'll get exposure to millions through the publisher network, good karma (a portion of the PPC bid goes to charity), and the satisfaction of knowing that you're helping keyword owners like me, rather than the bigwigs at Google.

Feel free to sign up for free (referral link) and join me in owning your keywords, making recurring commissions, and helping those less fortunate along the way!

It does sound interesting, to bad you used your affiliate link in the post. Your opinion of it is so one sided.

I had a thread which detailed everything that was going on there with the updates etc but it looks like it was removed without warning. There is a lot going on and it is really just starting, if you want to know anything specifically about it get in touch with me

I'd also like to hear more reviews about this. I stumbled on the site before they officially launched, but I didn't pay any attention to it.

There has been a lot of development go on lately in tagvillage. It still has not released the advertising platform and they have now announced a plan for controlled growth as they move into marketing stage.

The current focus is to get 1000 causes to support. If you know of any charities/causes especially local ones that could use some financial support and you aren't interested in becoming a member yourself send me some contact details for them. They can register free and never need to pay anything but once complete they will be able to receive ongoing financial support.

The CEO has just arrived in Kiev to work directly with the developers for the next 3 months in order to complete the advertising platform. If you want more info get in touch with me.

    Here is some extracts of the current business plan;

Until now, our company has relied upon the founding TagTrader membership for research, development, and operations. Our site has been a limited system focused intently upon the TagTrading platform. Behind the scenes we have been constructing a multi-layered Publisher content distribution framework, Advertiser content creation and management system, and Cause awareness and support platform. As we near the completion of the initial development cycle, we have begun drawing the blueprint for our transition to market production.

Our goal is to lay a solid foundation for this transition over the next 3 months, the last quarter of 2012. Throughout 2013 we will slowly and steadily become a full-scale market production company. Our software development division will migrate from purely research and development into support and enhancement. Throughout 2013 we will become more and more focused upon the sales, production, and enhancement of our core products.

    Objectives
We have three primary membership objectives we hope to achieve during the last quarter of 2012. Each of these objectives is a milestone that must be reached before we can move forward. If we work together and achieve each objective, the result will be a solid, dependable business that produces sustainable growth for everyone.

    Cause Membership
    • Beginning October 1, 2012 our focus will be 100% upon Cause membership. We must all work together to spread the news to schools, churches, food pantries, and nonprofit organizations of all types and sizes. We must actively and aggressively foster a growing membership of charities around the world.
    • We must attain a minimum of 1,000 Causes in our system before we can shift to our next objective.
    Publisher Membership
    • Upon attaining 1,000 Causes in our system, we must shift our focus to Publisher membership. We must all work together to spread the news to bloggers, webmasters, online news and entertainment sites, and web publishers of all types and sizes. We must actively and aggressively foster a growing membership of website publishers around the world.
    • We must attain a minimum of 500 Publishers in our system before we can shift to our next objective.
    Advertiser Membership
    • Upon attaining 500 Publishers in our system, we must shift our focus to Advertiser membership. We must all work together to spread the news to retailers, wholesalers, suppliers, and service providers of all types and sizes. We must actively and aggressively foster a growing membership of advertisers around the world.
    • We must attain a minimum of 250 Advertisers in our system before we can activate the advertising platform.
It is imperative that each milestone be reached before the other becomes our focus. They are laid out in a logical order. Without a certain number of Causes, there are simply not enough options for Publishers to choose from. Without a certain number of Publishers, there are simply not enough options for Advertisers to choose from. Each proceeding milestone lays the foundation for success of the following milestone.

    Implementation
In order to maintain steady, controlled growth, we will not implement software or tools for a new objective until the prior objective is achieved. In order to motivate members and sustain a focus upon current objectives, we will not implement bonuses or revenue sharing systems until all objectives are achieved.

The implementation plan is designed to encourage and motivate our entire team. It is designed to ensure growth, stability, and dependability. Each stage lays the foundation for the next stage. As each objective is reached, the next objective becomes more attainable and sustainable. If every milestone is achieved, the result will be a solid, dependable business that will reward every member accordingly for their efforts. The only way to achieve true success is to implement and accomplish a good plan. We feel this plan is not only achievable, but is sound.

tagvillage desires to be a business that pours out financial blessings upon its members. tagvillage desires to be a business that pours out financial blessings upon wonderful Causes throughout the world. We can do both! Let's come together as a tea. Let's all work together to reach the milestones laid out for us. If we all strive, as one, success is ensured.

It is hard to ask if anyone has had success since they have not launched the advertising platform yet. There is a part that involves tag trading where you will earn from advertising profits based on the keyword, but that is another part. It is going to be interesting though, they need the charities/causes to register so they will be able to share 10% of the profits with them. Will be really good for them as it costs them nothing.

I think it will probably be January before it launches properly. They are running promotions on the tag trading side of things. There is going to be a lot of advantages for publishers and advertisers compared with current networks as well. I'll keep the thread updated with progress and if anyone wants to know about anything else feel free to get in touch with me.
