So I posted a video on youtube that I think is exploding..7000 views and only 2-3 days.I've been experimenting with youtube marketing since last week just testing the waters and didnt expect this. What I've done so far is set up an annotation with an ad and a URL forwarded to my aff link of a popular credit card offer, the ad tells them to click the link in the description box....a lot of traffic but only 6 clicks and no completes. Any suggestions from you youtube pros as to what Im doing wrong and how can I improve this. By the way this is a video of a little kid doing tricks and its attracting mainly women oodling over how cute he is. I want to be set up before it hits the 10,000's.

First of all, if your main traffic is women, why would you send them to a credit card offer? That explains your low numbers to the offer. What usually happens in a scenario like this is that you'll ruin any chances of this video going viral if you have a non-matching, non-seemless offer there, as people can smell a marketer 10 miles away these days.

If your video is of a cute kid, then find one of those "cutest baby contest" CPA offers, it should convert very well. And Make sure you make your plug as natural looking as possible. Find a CPA offer (like the photo contest) that you plug in a way that it seems like you're helping your viewers out - not pushing something on them, like a credit card offer.

Correct. Look for diaper, baby food, clothes offers, etc., etc. You need to play for your audience - a credit card offer is like playing rap at an old folks home, or showing an adult diaper offer on a kids gaming site... not going to work.

      Good luck.

Make sure you make a strong call to action to go to your link. Since you are not advertising a product, only direct them to something that is free and easy to sign up (email submit) and appeals to the majority of the audience, because not all those women have there own kids or their kids are grown. So advertising diaper, baby food, etc offers like AdeptMarketing suggest would only get you a few clicks. If you offered something that would appeal to the majority audience, in your case women in general, I would advertise shoes, jewelry, or gift cards to shopping stores email submits. Good luck!

You said it yourself, if your demographic is women show them something that they can benefit from. If your video is of a small child doing tricks they will be in their "soft state," hit them with something like shopping offers because they are subconsciously in a happy vulnerable state of mind.
