Spent $150 no luck - Help me campign

He guys, this is quite upsetting honestly. I have started a few campaigns with microsoft adcenter and failed horribly.

The largest campign I had was most of the $150 spend and I am currently in Envyus media network and asked what was hot converting offer for adcenter traffic and I was given this CPA offer:

Financial - Payday Loan - Payday One Click (US) | Affiliate Programs, Offers

I advertised on adcenter and got 352 clicks and went to check in my portal and saw 0 conversions....I dont know how that can happen honestly.

The keywords I used were the ones recommended on offervault for the offer..

I really need to make some $ and want to do it with a working campaign.

Please help! - Connor.

p.s. - I am interested in advertising with mobile to see how conversions are etc.
anyone have expirence with : mobfox.com or other mobile networks?

    1. Do you have a way to track your ads? This is a must if you are doing pay advertising otherwise you are just burning money.
    2. Also, do you have any experience in PPC? If this is your first campaign, I would suggest you to aim for the lower payout pay per lead offers as you can test and learn about PPC without losing a lot of money. The amount you pay for each click is very high in the loan niches so you will lose money quickly if you don't have experience.
    3. Do you do direct linking or do you have your own website? I always create my own website to promote offers and send the traffic to my site when I use Ad Center and Adwords. This way the quality score is higher and I can pay less for the clicks.

the amount I was paying for the clicks was good, about $.30 a click.

I direct linked the offer and wasnt worried about the quality score, for some reason it was pretty high.

You were paying $0.30 per click for payday loan related keywords? My best guess is that either your keywords were way off, or your ad position was too low to convert.

Is that the actual page you linked to? Just the form with nothing on it? If so that is pretty terrible. I'm surprised it got approved. Also direct linking isn't supposed to be allowed on Adcenter, so that's doubly odd. PM me and I can help if you are willing to give details only or I can't help much. Sometimes the recommended keywords seem a little broad. Stuff like personal loan. I would go for the cash advance and payday loan keywords.

You have to build a Lander where you presellf the offer, direct linking works usually with short form leads.
Also don't forget that you steped into very very competetive market where usually you will have to compete against the financial companies directly, and they they are pretty strong.

My advice - do a very deep research, including spying on other campaigns for at least a week. Take landing pages from other campaigns as an example for building yours (don't copy).

Be prepared to spend a hell of a lot money to get this campaign profitable or lose few hundreds if it doesn't work out.

If it was like this just take the best paying offer, drop some keywords and expect to become very rich, everybody would do it, you must optimize your keywords all the time add new ones, remove the ones that are not converting, make a landing page, it's not that easy like you imagined only if you are really lucky.

350 clicks won't convert much anywhere for anything, unless it's 350 laser specific leads that are looking for that exact product.

Consider that gone. But what i would recommend is to start small first. Go to some less competitive keywords and offer start there and learn from there. Direct linking might work but not all the time. Just saying.
