I'm going to go off the assumption that you're new to CPA affiliate marketing (since that's the majority of the threads in this particular forum). I would recommend first reading through some of the material here and familiarizing yourself with the type of offers and affiliate networks out there. Learn the difference from email/zip submits, lead generation, free trials, cost per sale, etc.

Once you have a strong understanding of the offers/networks out there, it's time to research how you will distribute your traffic. Read through the appropriate forums to learn about pay per click (Google Adwords, MSN AdCenter), social media (Facebook ads, POF), email marketing (building a double optin list), and finally display advertising (direct site and network media buys).

When you have accomplished all of above start taking action. I assume you already have some basic understanding of how to create a simple landing page (which is going to really be essential for you to start making money online). If not, you need to learn this FIRST by reading through some of the material on perhaps HTML Tutorial.

The best knowledge you will gain though is by taking action. Read and learn, but don't spend ALL of your time on that. Once you feel comfortable, have a set budget, take action and start seeing results.
