What Do You Use For Tracking/Split Testing?

I use CPVLab and Bevo to split test landing pages for my PPV campaigns. Still new to Bevo but I find it quite easy to use and setup.

Prosper202 is very popular with warriors.

Aside from that, I only work with affiliate networks that let me plant PPC conversion tracking codes on the thank-you pages. So that way all my PPC campaigns are reporting the leads/sales instead of me having to switch windows to see how many conversions I got for the amount of money I spent.

For split testing, you could do is manually which is common practice if you are doing CPA stuff (just splitting traffic 50/50 to 2 different offers and see which one converts better).

But if you are serious about split testing, there's a few options:

Google Website Optimizer - Google's free split testing system. It's a little too basic for my tastes.

Then there's the paid versions:

Adobe/Omniture Test & Target (costs about $30,000 per year)
Vertster (costs about $1000 - $3000/month depending on how much traffic you send through it) - I used this platform for 2 years, it's very good

But my current favorite is Visual Website Optimizer. It's much cheaper ($100 - $300/month depending on how many visitors you send through the test), and it has really good reporting, does heatmaps, and is very easy to use. I've been using it for the past year and absolutely love it.

Tracking traffic in and conversions (even split testing) is leaving so much information on the table.

You find sometimes that an offer has to redirect through a bunch of tracking links before it hits it's ultimate destination, so you are split testing the landing page but you could spend your time finding the offer 2 or 3 levels up the bagatelle chain, so higher payout, quicker load time, better conversion.

If you do use Prosper 202 you must go for self-hosted on your own server, otherwise you'll be trying to compete with people sending a lot of traffic through a small gateway leading to bottlenecks.

You can't have enough data points to track in my opinion.

I am still using "bevo",it help me much .You can test it.I f it works well you can use it other wise kick it.
