Don't bother, you'll be banned instantly if you try that.

My recommendation would be: "stay away from G. Adwords".
They are extremely picky and the adwords policies are more and more difficult to fulfill. You may spend a lot of time there trying to get your ad approved, and its PPC prices are pretty high.
I've been there trying to set up a campaign through a couple of ads. They visited my site and forced me to make a first change. I did it.
Then they asked me for a second change. I did it.
Then the came back with another request of change. I also did it.
When they asked for another change (to remove my optin form!!), I phoned Google. I asked why they do not ask all the changes they want in one shot not one after another in a never-ending story. The guy who I talked to just said "G.Adwords team is very selective, your campaign is still under review. Sorry". That was all he said.
I just have a simple WP blog site with some unique articles about anxiety, stress and the like. Nothing special.
There are a lot of other PPC networks out there, much cheaper and by far less restrictions.
You can try with ZEDO, ADMARKETPLACE, CPX INTERACTIVE, 7 SEARCH, PLENTYofFISH. There are a lot more.
You can also try with a tool of Russ Ruffino and better than that, you can search the paid traffic methods of Vick Strizheus.
        Good luck!

Good point bilkat19, good point. You see, looking around for paid traffic new threads I posted this comment in the thread "Looking to finally start paid traffic", but then visiting this section a couple of minutes later I thought that by chance it could also be of some help to the initiator of this thread "First time using Adwords, Help?", and I think it maybe will.

Couldn't agree more...Google Adwords is the most tricky & difficult PPC network to advertise especially for affiliate marketers...They don't like affiliates at all..I would also suggest u to stay away from them..unless u want to risk getting banned..However, I do agree that they have one of the most targeted traffic but it's tough to appease their policies..Moreover, it can be pretty tough to generate good ROI..if u are in a competitive niche..

Don't waste your time with PPC. Get some good solo ads that lead to a free offer then direct your thank you page to your main offer. You now have a list and you will be able to sell them in them future. I personal would rather make my site worth at least an email to enter.

adwords is a real pain in the behind

personally i wouldnt even waste your time to be honest

if your trying to generate lots of traffic to a squeeze page for your free report then try some other ppc platforms or try some solo ads.

with solo ads you can be up and running in a couple of hours getting traffic to your site

while your using paid traffic i would build your free traffic at the same time, so that your building a nice regular amount of free traffic as you go

AdWords is only a pain in the butt if you don't follow their guidelines.

If you find a good swipe or landing page that goes along with their guideline, you will be successful at it. Since you have so may vouchers, you might want to create multiple accounts first.

But then again, that goes against their TOS>

Perry Marshall's Definitive Guide to Google Ad words.

After you are done reading that, do what I did and stay away.
Ad words is a pain in the ass.
Costs too much money and you will be out-bid constantly.

Better yet, buy Get Google Ads Free.
It's a PDF and will open your eyes to the possibilities of succeeding with Ad words.

      Good luck.

Yes if using coupons, you'll get banned in no time.

    Yes don't use the coupons.

Adwords is tricky. They will bann quickly, and don't like affiliate or affiliate-ish offers.

But if you can weather the storm there will be great reward.

If you are just starting out though, I would recommend something else.
