    "FAST" is relative.

But if you've the right knowledge, I would say CPA is relatively faster than other skill like content creation, seo, article marketing.

As has been said above if you have some experience in traffic generation and affiliate marketing , CPA is a lot faster than other methods .

CPA is a great way to make money, even for a newbie (I made about $450 so far in March, which is my 2nd month doing CPA). My main ad network is Neverblue - you should definitely check them out.

CPA can be confusing for a beginner so you definitely need a good detailed information about how to start and move on. It involves things like getting accepted to the CPA networks, choosing good offers, building landing pages, driving traffic, monitoring everything, etc. It's different from affiliate marketing with clickbank kind of products.

Agree with you 100% about how to start and move on ,but I also think there is confusion around the term CPA too. Many seem to forget it simply means cost per action, and that action can also be a purchase, it is not just about email or zip submits, or lead generation. Having the right strategy behind whatever you choose is the important thing. If anyone thinks it is easy way to fast money they are making a big mistake. No magic button in this game.

I agree CPA can be some fast cash if you know what you are doing. You can also lose some fast cash and get wipped out in a hurry if you don't know what you are doing, which happens to many people.

You only get wiped out if you promote CPA offers via PPC. There are many ways to generate traffic which don't cost anything other than time.

I started marketing and converting CPA offers on Craigslist. Time consuming, but effective. My best month was about $4K. Just from craigslist. I was promoting dating offers and education offers.

        Right on, both of you!

To work CPA effectively, there is a learning curve... Learn some basic concepts (landing page design, testing & copy) and you can clean up.

But these guys are dead on about learning traffic methods also! If you go ppc as a newbie, you will probably get killed.

CPA is NOT get rich quick, but if you learn some of the basic methods, it can be get rich quicker!

Definitely work on other traffic generation and ease your way into Adwords. Adwords can be a pretty tough nut to crack. I used the $50 Adwords credit I got with my hosting account just to dip my toes in. You need to invest a whole lot more than that before you see results, but it gives you a good indication how it works and whether it can be effective for what you have in mind.

How did you not break CL TOS with dating offers? Not accusing you of anything bad, I'm just always confused when people say they run dating offers on CL because as far as I can tell it's against their TOS.

  • ...how do you make money? Simple.....You take an offer from a merchant account that will pay you either flat fee per sign up or recurring monthly income based on your sign ups sales.

So now when you give away your PLR you "suggest" a great merchant account for them to start selling and when they sign up you get paid....and maybe even thanked!
    honestbizpro...

plz explain what you mean by "suggest a merchant account for them to start selling." I'm not connecting the dots between their PLR product and a CPA offer (but it's still early in the day for me).

When I started in IM, CPA was one of the easiest things to get off the ground.

It just has so many subsets and ways to make money if you're creative that it's hard not to get good stuff done.

Yeah, totally, that's how I got into this whole biz. I really want to release some stuff soon and show people how cool CPA really is, it's really just limited by your imagination.

Well, your imagination and your moral code, but that's a different story altogether lol. I will say that there is lots of very cool stuff you can do with CPA that is totally legit, you just got to look at things in a different way.

You could have both. If you know how to promote the products then you are in. And if you know how to write articles with your own creative ideas then it is very great to know. So both of it will let you earn money fast. No matter if it takes you more knowledge rather than loosing money and time.

    Hello Guys...

No doubt that CPA is the hottest make money online "2009" as others to below "2008".

However, I have been finding it had to start CPA even though I had experience in web content, article martketing etc.

I have read alot of pdf from this forum on how to start making money on CPA but no one is giving a good step, most of them are just promoting there links.

Can someone pls. describe what is meant to be done after you get accepted by two or more CPA network such as... 1. niche research, 2. relating niches to offers, setting up a landing page etc.

    Thanks in Advance.

      1. Niche Research is... finding out what is "hot" and what is "not"
I will suggest two tools for you to get started. 1) google trends. Using this tool (along with listening to what Oprah said this week) will give you ideas about what kinds of products are hot (starving market). 2) Use AdLabs from MSN. After doing basic KW research with the Google KW free tool, you can go to adlabs and enter your keyword phrases. Adlabs will tell you how likely it is that "that" keyword phrase will convert. "Diet" for example will probably never convert, but "diet program reviews" probably will.

      2. When you find hot "niches," go to your CPA networks and look for well designed offers with a) excellent graphics, b) easy instructions c) strong call to action (if it looks complicated or convoluted to you - a smart marketer, think about how it must look to a prospect).

      3. Landing pages are the hardes thing, and the easiest thing. Put down your keywords in a spreadsheet. Search for your keywords at google. Look at the offers of other advertisers (try not to click through their ad though). Keep track of these ads for 15 days or so. If they keep advertising, it means they are probably making money. If they are making money with their Landing Page, you can too! Don't copy it exactly, but copy the look and feel of what they are doing. Duplication beats innovation hands down.

Does that help? There is a LOT to learn, but you can do it!

          Sure. Sorry for being unclear.

Innovation is "reinventing the wheel." In marketing (including Internet Marketing - "IM") you don't need to reinvent the wheel. Just be a student of what other people are doing successfully and basically copy them. I don't mean copy them exactly. I mean... look at the process, look at the elements. Ask yourself (from the customers perspective), what are they doing that is converting customers? Is it the good writing (copy), graphics, opt in process, strong call to action, or a combination of all of these?

Does that clear it up a bit?

          1. Go to: Advertising and Data Mining Tools: Microsoft adCenter Labs
          2. Select Tools: Audience Intelligence: Detecting Online Commercial Intention
          3. Select "Query" instead of "webpage"
          4. Enter your keyword phrase "diet" for example
          5. If you enter the word "diet" the data from MSN says there is a 0.89 NON-Commercial intent
(In plain English -- the word diet is too broad! When people enter THAT word, they are NOT ready to buy)

Think of your own buying process. When you learn about a new car stereo, you might enter the search term "car stereo," but you are probably not ready to buy. Why? You need more information. First you might start looking for car stereos with MP3 features, or USB or whatever. Then, you look for reviews of different brands. At the end of the day, you might "narrow it down" to "Sony XL-30b" (or whatever). When you enter that search term, you are most likely ready to buy!

The AdLab tool simply gives us the "data" that tells us what search terms are most likely "buying words." It isn't a perfect science, but its a LOT better than guessing.

          Hope that helps!

Hello everyone, so glad to join this forum, lots of helpful tips plus some witty banter. I tried Clickbank a month ago & using PPC I got sales worth $200 after spending $650 so right now I am a bit intimidated by PPC. Now, I just joined COPEAC, picked out a couple of offers I want to promote but being so green at this CPA thing, I can't figure out how to create the affiliate link!

I emailed my affiliate manager about it and he emailed me back saying that he is not an affiliate and has no idea. He does not seem to be in the mood for "stupid" newbie questions and I don't want to annoy him. At clickbank, it is not confusing, just hit the "create hoplink button" and voila!

I got the COPEAC affilite ID in the email, I just need to figure out how to use it lol. No button here that says "create hoplink" Someone please tell me exactly to create the affiliate links for the offers because I am so motivated to get this show on the road. Thanks in anticipation.

      Hey Alodie77.

      1. Go to copeac and choose the campaign you want to promote.

      2. Look down the page at the creatives (banners)

      3. Above each banner is a big box. In that box is a bunch of html code... like this (http replaced with hxxp and numbers replaced for privacy)

      <a href="hxxp://www.cpaclicks.com/secure.asp?e=dbsbwbchokwm&d=0&l=0&o=&p=0&subID1=blog&subID2=&subID3=&subID4=&subID5="><img src="hxxp://www.cpaclicks.com/imageredirect.asp?a=xxxxx&b=xxxxx" alt="" border="0"></a>

The part in red is your affiliate id.

      4. If you want to add a subID for tracking purposes, they have a little box that says "add up to 5 sub ids" If you put in "1" and hit "add," it will bring up another box where you can add what you want, like "blog" or whatever, to tell you where the traffic is coming from. You will notice I added "blog" in the example above.

      Does that help?

      Tony

P.S. One more tip. Whatever offer you are promoting, make sure that the offers terms allows for that kind of advertising. For example. If you were promoting an offer on a blog, you should make sure that the traffic type allows "website" traffic and is not restricted to "search" only.

        Hey Tony,
That was very helpful. Thanks a lot. And the P.S also helps. I am wondering, do I have to do anything with these three fields below that appear just under the html code?

        "Please Enter Number of Deployments"
        "Name Creative for Deployment"
        "Deploy Creative"

Or can I just go on and start promoting the offer once I have the link? Thanks again Tony

lol there are dozens of ways to earn money online through CPA marketing. I myself am still a fresh newbie to all of.

Here are some ways to get started:

    Referrals through traffic exchange
marketing through myspace, facebook, twitter, etc.
    writting articles
getting friends and family members to sign up

The list goes on, but all you have to do is experiment with different ways, find what works for you, and stick to it!

I recommend Project Payday to get started if you're interested. Check my signature below!
