Hello,

Just a quick question: How do CPA networks know where your traffic comes from in regards to telling the difference between search, email, direct linking or a link to your webpage that say redirects to your affiliate id link as it would essentially be the same link?

Thanks.

They have pretty sophisticated traffic tracking systems in place that monitor these things - Not to dissimilar to what most internet marketers should be using to track their traffic
i.e. Google analytics and other such software.

    Hope this helps

Thanks, id expect them to have such tools, so how can they tell if the link was given through email marketing if you say linked to your own landing page which then redirected to your CPA offer? I say this as some offers do not like email marketing based traffic but i cant see how this cold be tracked?

Well i could figure a way around it anyway by going into overkill on the link masking redirecting side to guarantee it.. id just like to know, it's cool though you keep your knowledge... ill wait for somebody else :/
