Game Server CPA
Has anyone tried this? I am curious to know if it actually works.
Method is basically this:
- rent a dedicated server in a good datacentre with low latency
- install a popular game server on it
- modify welcome page of server to point to your site/cpa offer
I managed a game server once just for fun and I would get hundreds of people joining and leaving every hour.
Would only take a couple of CPA sales to break even as long as you do the technical stuff yourself (which isn't as hard as it sounds if you read manuals properly). I imagine dating offers or supplements would probably hit the demographic.
I've seen others doing this already. Not sure if anyone is making money at it or just doing it to pay towards their hosting fees.
