What should be the Budget in Cpa Promotion- Paid Methods

Hi Warriors. This is my first thread here.

I am starting in CPA and I am having 2 years of Internet Marketing Experience. I am already with many CPA Networks. But I am still to promote the offers.
I was just wondering what would be the budget required to start with the paid methods. This time I am having only $200 budget. Can I join Lead Impact and start testing. I can see that PPV is cheap than PPC. So I think I can spend my $200 in PPV at the starting and can run diffferent campaigns in it and can test them.

This was just my strategy, As I am new to this, can you tell me what the Budget should actually be needed for this.

I am also having a few questions regarding free methods.

1. Youtube- Most of the people say Youtube is better to get the free Traffic, I just want to ask that most of the Offers are related to US, so how can we come to know that which Video is getting US traffic, If I hire the Description space of the Video, then how I will get to know that how much US traffic is the Video Getting.

2. Articles- Same is with Articles Writing. How will I come to know that traffic I am getting is from US. If I decide to write an article on Ezine, then how can I know that my article is getting US traffic, what if its Getting Traffic from Australia rather than US.


I always love to connect with fellow bloggers and internet marketing peoples, so while replying do write your AIM or Skype address.

I would really like to see your answers on this.

    No... If you're unfamiliar with how these traffic system works, don't start it first.

    As for why, because you will first need to know they gain these traffic, for example if these original traffic sources are, for example... Ants, ants seeks for honey right? As that said, most PPV traffic are originally from "free games sites", these audience actually download the toolbar, and agree the advertisement as part in exchange for free games. So these traffic would be much attracts to free offers, games etc. *These are just for reference, no evidence support.

    Future then, your landing pages, how to create a squeeze page and more. So you must learn these before you start.

    I've tried LI, but I'm not part of that so I couldn't give you much information for how it works, anyway if you insist of learning more about CPV, go for cpvden.com.

    As for these free traffic, yes...
    Youtube is a simple task, they haven't change their algo for this yet, for probably you can refer this case study.

    2. When you don't know how your traffic comes about, better don't go for it, now most blogger, article writer rely traffic from ezinearticles and google, or most feeds sites(e.g. feedburner). But first you will need to know, not everything works the same, as for how to confirm these traffic are based US traffic, simply check up for their audience on the keywords terms.

    I know how to generate the traffic, I am having my own site and getting the traffic for it, but that traffic is from all over the world.

    But in CPA I have to target the specific countries, so I think writing articles wouldnt help more on this.

      Why dont you try banner exchanges ebannertraffic offers 3:2 exchange ratio and has country targeting and category targeting.

    The first time I started doing PPV on TrafficVance I was already doing affiliate marketing full-time for about a year.

    It took me about $700 to get something profitable.

    Just for your reference.

    Regarding you "free" methods, I would investing more of your time into Youtube then article marketing.

    CPA really gears itself towards Youtube more.

      Good lord! Can it take that much to get something profitable??

      I may be pursing a dead for myself with PPV, I don't have that kind of money to play with.

      Is it possible to test $10 at a time and fine a profitable campaign before you reach $200 with tracking/split testing?

        You can test with $10 at a time.
        If you're testing offers that pay around 1-5 dollars you can test it out with $10. A rule of thumb that many people use is to spend at least twice the offer payout to see if it converts.

    I do a lot of CPS stuff, so I had to spend more money testing.

    I'm sure it can be done for less.

    Maybe I'm a slow learner, but all that matters is you don't stop till the job is done.

      We'll you can't control who watch the videos, but you can find videos more popular in the US. Things like NFL Football comes to mind, if your niche fits that.

      Regarding hiring the description space or building your own video, try both. Either can work!
