Adcenter Screenshots and Questions

I'm brand new to PPC and Adcenter. I don't really even know enough to know what to ask, so I'm hoping some of you that are successful with PPC will clue me in on any improvements I can make.

The best I understand is that I need to keep trying campaigns to see which ones work the best. So I've tried several so far - some get good impressions, some don't. Thankfully, I'm still playing with free Adcenter money. I've made 1 sale so far on the Flight Simulator, but that's it.

So the only general questions I know to ask are:

1. How can I increase my number of impressions? Is it simply raising the bid?
2. How can I increase CTR? Is it a matter of trying different ad after different ad to find what works?

In most of these campaigns, I have 30 - 50 keywords, and I'm bidding the same on all of them. Should I consider the campaigns that have low impressions as losers and move on to something else?

I appreciate any help you guys can give.

    Hi Iuzeit,

I wouldn't worry about impressions so much as the CTR.

Increase the CTR and you'll have more traffic at a cheaper CPC.

To increase CTR you can break up your campaign into small groups of related keywords and then tailor your ad copy to that set of keywords. Then keep testing new ads trying to improve the CTR all the time.

I couldn't really make out your images but as far as impressions go, it might be your daily budget is too low and you might also be limited if you are using the product url as your display url. From memory I think Adcenter won't show 2 ads with the same display url at a time.

If you're on a tight budget I would pause a few campaigns and focus on the keyword/ad that gave you the sale. Increase the daily budget there and write a few ads directly relating to the converting keyword.

Best of luck and hope that helps.

Higher CTR=more clicks at a cheaper cost
Low CTR=Raise bid for more traffic

Also look at fiverr.com for adcenter coupons if you need additional testing funds.
