CPATank Is Closing - Supposedly Temporarily

Hey there is no serious issues with CPATank, we have had a major maintenance plan organized and coordinated with the affiliates who talk and work with us regularly for some time now. this was a good opportunity to go in and make some dramatic changes to the interior of the network i've wanted to make for a while.

this has nothing to do with finances or the one AM that left. i just have had problems with AM's that seem good but dont bring any real revenue in. i'm going to be interviewing and taking my time much more slowly with this next round of people we choose to help serve and everything will be poised for a much better long term operation.

All affiliates really care about is customer service and on time payments and owning up to things if they go bad. I have learned this in every facet of business because I have heald all kind of managerial positions as well as being in the military. "The real military" ----honor --- courage -- committment. Theses are the tenents I try to put into everything I do. This is all affiliates care about

Everyone will get paid even their small balances, most all affiliates are paid up to date as it is.

As networks many of us have realized that right now is the time to return to quality over quantity when it comes to affiliates.

BEWARE people. Whenever this network 'reopens', there is a good chance you will not be paid out. CPATank owes me over $10,000 on approved incentivized traffic. I was given an excuse of having the wrong contact information on my account (when I've been paid out over $20k by this network in the past) and waited as I did not receive any texts back, answers to skype, or answers to their 'ticket' system along with several emails to the owner and an accounting person, who I'm pretty sure doesn't exist (based on over 10 emails sent to her with no reply from this incident and a late payment in the past.

When I finally got a hold of the owner, he gave me the excuse that the advertiser was claiming fraud on my traffic. He then told me that he had a report from the advertiser. I asked for it. I did not receive it for almost 2 weeks. After finally seeing the report I reviewed it with another company that I sent SAME TRAFFIC to the SAME OFFER and they told me the stats weren't even close to what their network was getting on my traffic. I'm not making any accusations, but I think you can draw your own conclusion as to where this 'report' came from. The claim of fraud is not something I take lightly, especially when its used solely as an excuse for a network to skirt their financial responsibilities. I don't need to send fraud traffic, and I would never be stupid enough to do something like that, because, duh, it would never work in the first place. As most of you know, incent traffic so its obviously not the best conversion rate, however, when you are approved for an offer on incent, then that network is the one that is taking the risk. Its that simple. As publishers we should expect that a network knows what they are doing and has fostered a relationship with their advertiser so everybody is fully aware of the kind of traffic that is being sent and received. We shouldn't have to second-guess a network's ability to pay or set us up with the right offer for our traffic. We should just be paid out on what we are approved for. Period.

I found out after investigating that I wasn't even close to the real problem with CPATank and their advertiser (Ziinga). The TRUTH is they weren't even supposed to be approving incent traffic for that offer. CPATank owed $100,000 to another individual who was brokering this traffic and approved for incent. He only got paid out $40,000.

I will be going after this network when I have the time, however, I feel it is very important for all of you out there to know the TRUTH behind what CPATank is all about. We work hard on our scripts and our methods of driving traffic and when a company approves you for incent traffic we shouldn't have to worry about getting paid the exact dollar amount that is seen on our dashboards when we log into those networks. It is a network's job to take the risk. That is what they get paid to do. The most important thing I look at when working with a new network or sending traffic to an existing network, is the confidence that I will get paid. Although in the past I have heard nothing but good things about CPATank, it is very clear from my experiences that this network does not protect its publishers in the least. There are networks out there (a lot that I send traffic to) that realize it is THEIR fault for allowing incent traffic on a non-incent offer and know to keep a solid amount of float around in case an advertiser doesn't pay out. The really good networks are the ones that don't even tell you when an advertiser charges back because they realize it was their fault for approving incent traffic on that offer in the first place. This is not one of those networks.
