CPATank Is Closing - Supposedly Temporarily

This email went out to all affiliates last night.

Good Evening,

First of all, I want to personally thank you for being part of our prestigious affiliate army.

Responsible leadership has always been a fundamental keystone of cpatank, and part of that leadership comes from my sincere desire to work one on one with people to help them succeed.

Recently our affiliate ranks have more than quadrupled from our numbers last year while our staff has remained the same. This has caused our service to be less than the standard of excellence that made cpatank one of the strongest Affiliate Networks in the industry since 2009.

I have a strong desire to return back to that one on one service that gave the most benefit to affiliates.

Because of this decision, we are asking you to please pause campaigns by this Sunday at midnight. You will be paid for everything you send. I am going to work on adding the proper manpower to serve our substantially larger affiliate base, and we will invite back affiliates one by one when I can absolutely ensure that we can give you the service you deserve.

I know what you are thinking, Yes, I may lose some money in the short term, but to me losing a small amount of revenue on campaigns that I do not have time to give the proper attention to is better than not being able to give the absolute best service and attention to affiliates; a true desire for quality in our work is what sets my team and I apart from many others in the industry.

I look forward to reaching back out to you in the next few weeks as we make the changes necessary to accommodate all of our members properly and working with you one on one to develop the best affiliate experience possible.

Salute Success!

there was something going on with them specially when one of their Active AFF Managers left network i knew there was something wrong , A fellow warrior and a personally contact of mine contacted me regarding payment delays and stuff hope she will get paid from CPA Tank. Personally i do appreciate Vito for making it public and letting his affiliates know about current situation there were many networks who don `t even bother to let their affiliates know whats going on . An other Network is having same kind of problems tough they never make it public best bet is to stop your traffic to any network once you notice some unusual activity over network like delay in payments ,when aff managers don`t respond to your messages and emails or when key managers are laid off ....

P.S for network owners we don't care what car you drive or your higher EPC all we want from you is to keep us updated if you have any issues so we should know we will get paid for our traffic ...Or at least when we experience some payment delay just tell us whats going on instead of thousand lies you tell no one wants that crap ...

Hey there is no serious issues with CPATank, we have had a major maintenance plan organized and coordinated with the affiliates who talk and work with us regularly for some time now. this was a good opportunity to go in and make some dramatic changes to the interior of the network i've wanted to make for a while.

this has nothing to do with finances or the one AM that left. i just have had problems with AM's that seem good but dont bring any real revenue in. i'm going to be interviewing and taking my time much more slowly with this next round of people we choose to help serve and everything will be poised for a much better long term operation.

      thank you! - vito

        Vito,
You have always been more then fair with me.
You always paid me, even that one time when a campaign got terminated
in the middle of a run. They did not pay you, but you still payed me.

CPA Tank, and more importantly You will ALWAYS have my loyalty.

        Regards,
        Ken

Speedy Likes said it best. No one IMO cares that you drive a lambo, mercedes, BMW or a Moped. All affiliates really care about is customer service and on time payments and owning up to things if they go bad. I have learned this in every facet of business because I have heald all kind of managerial positions as well as being in the military. "The real military" ----honor --- courage -- committment. Theses are the tenents I try to put into everything I do. This is all affiliates care about

A bunch of networks are going under or under ground now. Like YeahCPA got rid of ALL their affiliates except their 'super affiliates'.

As networks many of us have realized that right now is the time to return to quality over quantity when it comes to affiliates.

Really glad that CPATank is focusing more on quality rather than quantity. Great for advertisers at the same time for affiliates. Keep it up!

  • ..this is pretty unexpected, the title forced the click out of disbelief (never worked with CPAtank but was under the impression they were solid).

    Vito,

Grats on taking the proactive step. I've talked to a number of affiliate managers that knew less than I did (relative newb) - they were more comparable to an assistant manager that merely peddled offers, resembling secretaries more really than anything else and had no technical-applicable background. Granted - affiliate managers aren't coaches or mentor. Hope all your significant changes work out for the best.

I'm curious to know if this is purely to do with your publisher-base surpassing management capacity? Is there anything deeper? Fraudsters winning? or just simply the people hired to do a job did not and could not meet the expectations needed to climb exponentially as you did before?

CPATank is one of the best CPA networks I have been working with for the past 2 years. Always on time payments and even weekly with minimum $50 payouts.

Solid and trustworthy network that still up and running.

If you got any problem with payments then take it with Vito and I am sure he will help you. He always replay to emails.

They will be back up and contacting us before we know it.. I thing its good that there focus is on proper care of there affiliates and not trying to squeeze every cent out of us they can before going under. I applaud them.

BEWARE people. Whenever this network 'reopens', there is a good chance you will not be paid out. CPATank owes me over $10,000 on approved incentivized traffic. I was given an excuse of having the wrong contact information on my account (when I've been paid out over $20k by this network in the past) and waited as I did not receive any texts back, answers to skype, or answers to their 'ticket' system along with several emails to the owner and an accounting person, who I'm pretty sure doesn't exist (based on over 10 emails sent to her with no reply from this incident and a late payment in the past.

When I finally got a hold of the owner, he gave me the excuse that the advertiser was claiming fraud on my traffic. He then told me that he had a report from the advertiser. I asked for it. I did not receive it for almost 2 weeks. After finally seeing the report I reviewed it with another company that I sent SAME TRAFFIC to the SAME OFFER and they told me the stats weren't even close to what their network was getting on my traffic. I'm not making any accusations, but I think you can draw your own conclusion as to where this 'report' came from. The claim of fraud is not something I take lightly, especially when its used solely as an excuse for a network to skirt their financial responsibilities. I don't need to send fraud traffic, and I would never be stupid enough to do something like that, because, duh, it would never work in the first place. As most of you know, incent traffic so its obviously not the best conversion rate, however, when you are approved for an offer on incent, then that network is the one that is taking the risk. Its that simple. As publishers we should expect that a network knows what they are doing and has fostered a relationship with their advertiser so everybody is fully aware of the kind of traffic that is being sent and received. We shouldn't have to second-guess a network's ability to pay or set us up with the right offer for our traffic. We should just be paid out on what we are approved for. Period.

I found out after investigating that I wasn't even close to the real problem with CPATank and their advertiser (Ziinga). The TRUTH is they weren't even supposed to be approving incent traffic for that offer. CPATank owed $100,000 to another individual who was brokering this traffic and approved for incent. He only got paid out $40,000.

I will be going after this network when I have the time, however, I feel it is very important for all of you out there to know the TRUTH behind what CPATank is all about. We work hard on our scripts and our methods of driving traffic and when a company approves you for incent traffic we shouldn't have to worry about getting paid the exact dollar amount that is seen on our dashboards when we log into those networks. It is a network's job to take the risk. That is what they get paid to do. The most important thing I look at when working with a new network or sending traffic to an existing network, is the confidence that I will get paid. Although in the past I have heard nothing but good things about CPATank, it is very clear from my experiences that this network does not protect its publishers in the least. There are networks out there (a lot that I send traffic to) that realize it is THEIR fault for allowing incent traffic on a non-incent offer and know to keep a solid amount of float around in case an advertiser doesn't pay out. The really good networks are the ones that don't even tell you when an advertiser charges back because they realize it was their fault for approving incent traffic on that offer in the first place. This is not one of those networks.

I take my privacy very seriously so I have left out a lot of details here. However, if you want to know more about my dealings with this network or want to be put in touch with other people that have gone through something similar with this network, then please send an IM to me here or for a much faster response get in contact with me on skype at 'growclicks' and I will be happy to give you more specifics.

I felt the need to write this solely in the interest of exposing the truth and because I wish I read something like this months ago.
