Direct Linking or Custom Landing Page for PPV?

You need to try both to find out which works better!! Pick an offer one with direct linking and building a landing page as well and see which one converts. If one converts well than the other use that one.

With PPV traffic I almost always start with a 50/50 split between direct linking and a LP. Never assume you know what will work best until you test. I've been proven wrong tons of times.

Landing Page is the thumb rule. It allows lot of control and tracking.

  Go for landing page as chances are a lot of people have already bombarded ads with direct link and your visitors are already ad blind to the default page. So landing page is your best bet.

You must try both.
It is also important to try different types of landing pages- Change the design, wording and see which works. Often, a good landing page converts better than direct linking for non-incentive traffic. But like everyone else has suggested. You need to test and find whats working best for you.

Basic but important to notice that what you offer & if visitors are not getting whether it's paid or free, They just get out of that page. As above you should try both & will have more opportunities for implementing, that only will help you a lot.
