Anyone Here A Vendor On CPA Networks?

Hey warriors,

Just wondering if anyone here has some "war stories" about being a vendor on CPA networks.

Specifically -- have you run lead gen offers?

I haven't been a vendor in the orthodox sense, but I took an offer I was promoting on a large network and put it on a smaller network with a lesser payout and a monthly cap. It wasn't a lead offer though, it was a sale offer. I'm not quite ready to deal with all of the fraud and quality monitoring that comes along with lead offers just yet.

If you have any questions, I still might be able to answer some of them though.

I was a vendor in a software affiliate scheme.

Quite honestly it was a waste of time. 99% of affiliates didn't put in any effort other than linking to my stuff.

Nobody ever wrote reviews, which would have made them a killing (especially in the days when article marketing worked wonders).

Two affiliates that stand out were those who bothered to use the network's discount option (i.e. give a discount on the product in return for less affiliate income). Those two hard working affiliates now have sites that are in the top 10 download sites on the net, and they must be killing it now Panda has slaughtered their competition.
