Monetizing methods for my website

Hi I am a newbie here and please forgive me for my ignorance.

I have a website in a very small niche - It deals with doctors coming to US to do medical residency. You can find the site here - mdguru.me. If you are a medical graduate outside USA, to practice in USA as a doctor you will have to under go a 4 year hands on practice in a US hospital. This is called residency. My website helps these doctors with information to get into one of these residencies.

The site is about 3 years old. The content is absolutely unique and several of them rank in first page of google. The monthly unique page views vary from 3000-5000 and during the most active month September there is about 10000 views.

I am struggling to make a decent income from it.

We were trying to sell a product couple of years ago and it did not work out very well so we had to scrap it.

I have now started enabling ads, I am using skimlinks, bidvertiser and have some amazon affiliate links to some books. I have just enabled them (a month ago).

I would like to your help/feedback and find out how to monetize my site.
