There are a lot of people that can offer great 1 on 1 coaching.

What are you trying to learn specifically. That is the best way to go about choosing someone.

I had 2 x 1 hour coaching from 2 different people. Greedy and someone else. Greedy's coaching was far more easier to understand and make your time valuable and answer all the questions asked and way cheaper than the other guy. Was 40% of what other person charged.

If PPC is your thing then go to williamrs here. Ivan Ong will cost you $2,997 and personally I am NOT comfortable with that - my pocket is not that deep

Would also recommend WilliamRS for PPC - Been working with him a couple weeks now with Facebook and loving it!

Few hiccups along the way (My fault, not his) - but he's smoothed them over and helped me get back on track.

1 on 1 coaching will not take you as far as self experience can take you.

I never bought in to that horse crap, I mean if there doing so good then they would not be here advertising coaching period. Yeah i see it now, woah im making 1k a day i will teach 4 people and settle for $250 a day, from the new competition.

With that said they are not gonna seriously give you anything you can't get out of a over Hyped WSO, only difference is your gonna spend a lot more for a coach.

Hell i have over $1000 worth of WSO ill be happy to read them each to you for $250 lol

I have signed up to 2 of these so called coaching programs, Just to see if they was useful, One from what i thought was a very reliable member .... I have gained nothing new from either.

I have had 2 private coaching sessions from a member here and I must say I have learned a lot. I know you can dig up information on these forums or elsewhere like google etc. But having someone there guiding you through the process of your ad copy or landing pages is a big plus for me.

I'm completely new to this IM thing and I think it's money well spent. Also having someone there for you, you can ask any questions that you may have immediately say when you're setting up your LP's or ad copies. I find that I learn more efficiently that way but who am I to say that is the right solution for everybody?

That being said, by having a private coach or mentor, I can limit my loss to the minimum because I'll be getting advice from an experienced person. I would say the majority of people who is new to affiliate marketing will need a helping hand on how to launch their first campaign.

Once that is established, you won't need anymore private coaching. It's always the beginning that is the hardest. Like many have mentioned here, affiliate marketing is all about tweaking and split testing your campaigns and if you can master that, then you can start banking money.

Ninety-nine percent of advertising doesn't sell much of anything.

    You have a couple options:

1.) Free forums, (like this one).
2.) Paid private forums, (theres' a ton now)
    3.) 1on1 for a high price

The names mentioned are fine, some I've never heard of but be careful when you're looking for one. Make sure they've been around a while and know their stuff at minimum.

    @Dunhill thanks.

@bqpennell I used to have that view toward coaching, I thought a lot of it was BS. Heck, I learned everything on my own. But I had a few people keep asking me for help, they had good attitudes, and eventually I figured why not lets see where this goes.

    Some realizations I've had...

    - When I was starting out it took me a week to figure out prosper202, in coaching I can help people pretty much mastered it in about a hour.

    - Some newbies are really wasting money on complete junk landing pages. In a few hours I can point them in the right direction. Though, I can't teach them how to make a landing pages in a hour, I can sure kick people in the ass hard in the right direction.

    - Also a lot of newbies really struggle with managing servers, and HTML editing software. In a hours I can help them a lot. FTP, SQL, HTML, ect... can really be overwhelming at first.

While I don't want to do coaching long-term, the $$$ isn't really worth my time and I'm not too passionate about it. It is a fun experiment and I've learnt a lot. It definitely got me to change my views on coaching from "stop being lazy, use Google, and your brain" to "Ok, I kind of wish I did this when I was starting off." Coaching also really helps me remember the fundamentals of CPA marketing.

You should really try mentoring someone, it can really be an eye opening experience. It'll make you be a lot more open to getting help when you need it. It sured helped me grow a lot.

My best advice for someone looking for coaching is talk/work with a lot of people the more view points the better. Don't let anyone sell you any mystery box, or magic method.

And at the end of the day look it as consulting not coaching.

And I'm not doing coaching anymore. It was fun experiment.

Sorry for the delay in response, Please do not misunderstand me, I believe 1 on 1 coaching works as much as it doesn't, What I am saying is all this info is available for free on the net. I can link back a post from a guy that paid for coaching and didn't learn a thing and is now broke (was a while ago) Just as I am positive I can find links to someone who had coaching and is banking. I can also take any of the tons of WSO's I bought a long time ago and search for the wso topic and find the same information written differently for free. and that is all I was saying.

I have never liked those kind of coaching if we can even call that.

I've learned IM online through Free and Paid forums, mostly from free ones. Free resources just take me longer time, so to save time I buy a product here and there.

There is a TON of great info out there.

But there is definitely a lot of products and (e)books out there that teach stuff that you can't find online.

For example stuff by Dan Kennedy, Frank Kerns, Eban Pagan, ect... They really helped me evaluate my marketing and business to a new level.

Also I've used a lot of CPA coaching products that made me go "OMG! Why wasn't I doing that."

I think its easy to overlook products/coaching as nothing special, I did it for a long time, but wish I didn't. One my biggest mistakes in life.

Now I always check out new things to keep learning. Even the worst product has some gems for me.

I can link back a post from a guy that paid for coaching and didn't learn a thing and is now broke (was a while ago)
    This is true.

But I wouldn't recommend spending your money on coaching/products if you budget is that tight. If paying for coaching makes you go broke, you need to save your money to begin with.

    Just my 2 cents.
