What Time Should I Run my Facebook Ads? To Get Best Test Results

Hi,

Going to be running some Facebook ads soon for testing to see what CTRs I can achieve from 10,000 impressions.

Should I run the ads during 6pm to 10pm in the local time of the target audience? Since that's when FB users might be most active?

Or it doesnt matter? An impression is an impression - regardless of the time of day?

I have this feeling:
think of a time when people are just plain bored (not at work though) and on fb, much higher chance of their attention wandering to your ad and clicking on it to see what it is. If they are busy they will just focus on what they are doing and probably won't even notice the ad

Thoughts?

Thanks

It depends mainly on your offer, not when is Facebook the most active.

I always ask my AM what time of the day the offer converts the best, and time of the week ect...

    What niche is the offer?

      Ah awesome! Thanks greedy.

So it's good to go into this sort of detail? But you cant day part with Facebook ads, can you?

The niche specifically is Muscle Building.

What about Dating and Gaming, what are your thoughts about that in regards to time?

      Cheers

To start you run it around the clock, then after you have data you go back and decide for yourself, it will depending campaign on campaign

Exactly. It's true that some campaigns perform better during certain periods of the day, but it's something very specific, depends on the campaign, so it's better to run an initial test first and just then to determine what's the best period to run the ads.
