Prosper202 Error - Warning: date

Warning: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier.

I successfully installed Prosper202 on several sub-domains, however, when I try to log-in I get a page full of function errors that begin with the above statement. I searched the web and this has happened to many. Prosper claims (9 months ago) they were aware of the issue and were going to push a fix. Evidently the fix wasn't pushed or didn't work.

Does anyone know of a fix for this?
