I have a question about using a template to apply for affiliate networks?

I found many available templates online that can be customized. So my question is this.......

If I take one of these templates and customize it for let's say the **** berry as an example, throw in a few relevant pictures and a decent sales copy with a call to action, purchase a relevant domain name, host it with my host, and then link the newly created site to somebody else's **** Berry product site that I searched for on google.

Would this be sufficient to get approved into most of the affiliate networks? Or would the affiliate managers notice it doesn't have an affiliate network link ID to the **** berry product site and deny me?

thank you,
John

They like to see real sites, but landing pages are also fine.
    Make sure they look professional.

If you are not sure about the quality, check out this package of templates:

Very solid product with 6 professional templates, bought it today. They might come in handy

They might check the links (I'm not sure if every network is checking it so intensively but some will) but if you need help with that I can give you a couple links of various networks via PM. You can add me to aim too (oliversteinmetzk) or send me a DM on twitter (oliversk).

Anyway the most important thing is to have a good answer when they ask "what are you traffic sources".
A lot of networks love Email marketeers, so you could even tell them you have a targeted list instead of showing them a site.
